We were sincerely looking forward to our visit to Blue Jade this visit, previously one of our favorite Dubai restaurants.Sadly the chef appears to have changed, along with the menu, which now luckily is in Russia for those Russian reader, however the experience isnât as it once was. Food, service and ambiance seem too all have cheapened....not at all Ritz standards.Luckily the Italian at the Ritz has improved, so I guess we have one outlet to visit now.

Visited Mazina couple of times now and impressed with quality and consistency. Great venue for brunch with a young family or group of friends. Good selection of food including shellfish, sushi, salads and roasts with the service team not shy on provision of refreshments. Now the Summer is over you can also take a seat on the balcony to enjoy a beer outside.

White Orchid is trying to be a fine dining restaurant but is average at most. There is a lot of room for improvement on the food, the wine list. The service, although good is not from the standard of a fine dining restaurant.Price are high and do not reflect the quality in the plate. Dubai is not without a shortage of great restaurants for breakfast buffet. However, I believe that Sloanes stands head and shoulders above all others. The service is impeccable. The breakfast buffet, which includes an enormous variety, is of the highest standard. Food quality is incredibly fresh. The restaurant itself is very spacious and comfortable. It probably is a little bit more expensive but itâs definitely worth it. ... with very nice ambience, surprisingly good food and perfect weather. The entire setup in the huge outside area of Flow Kitchen - which is bordering the beach - is nice, relaxed and a very inviting place to spend an enjoyable evening. We didn't try the various shisha tastes, but had pizza (very good), seafood grill platter (very good) and the grilled chicken breast (very tasty) with French fries. The service team was attentive at first, but after they had served the main course seemed to forget about us, not coming back to clean the table or asking us if we wanted something else. We spent likely more than 1h completely unbothered (positive spin) by anyone with our table cluttered by empty and dirty dishes the entire time. I brought this up to our waiter when I asked for the check and his reply was he didn't forget about us but it seemed we were engaged in deep conversation and he didn't want to disturb us... On a positive note: The hotel wifi covers the entire area, which was a very welcome surprise. Either way, the evening was nice and we enjoyed the experience at the Flow Kitchen. Prizes are steep, as is the case anywhere in Dubai, but not to the point where you feel ripped off. I ended up paying close to ⬠140 for two (no alcohol, no shisha, including tip), which given the location seemed acceptable. I have to say I went to this restaurant with great expectations. However please read the disappointments and frustrations I had experienced here. The major problem is that this establishment is very poorly managed and run. I think the waiters are not well educated and it is surprising that the Nr 1 Asian restaurant in Dubai is so... I have experienced that smoking in open places can be banned however there is a way of saying this and a waiter showing the pub and not being polite is unacceptable... The second thing was that I had to ask 3 times for ice and I am doubtful that the waiter assigned was even understanding English properly. The third thing was that our soup came after the starters... REALLY ??? I mean that is one of the major things that even a normal, standard restaurant knows. Well, all in all I can say that the only proper thing in the restaurant is the music they have put to the bar part. DJ DARLYY. Beautiful place!! Gorgeous private beach, incredible pool with a swim up bar, hot tubs and lots of floats. We spent the WHOLE day here happily! We ordered food and shisha.
