Obviously the management has told the waiters to pause between service. The unacceptable thing was that we were sold unlimited drinks because when you order â2â, already; it is going to be cheaper than ordering â1â instead. However soon we understood that this was a gimmick. Because I had to wait for my juice for 10 minutes. Ultimately I had to complain and paid only â1â instead but why the wait and why to complain??? Better service means more repeat business... watch out because a lot of people are reading this and please change your way of service. You have good food and you deserve better and more stars

Great Emirates traditional restaurant in the lovely Abu Dhabi city. We like the atmosphere and the way the restaurant is designed to reflect local traditions.Traditional dishes are very delicious and presented in a good way. Setting area is awesome and staff service is friendly. Appetizers are also very delicious. Travelers should not miss the great experience.

My partner and I went to stratos on our last night in Abu Dhabi to enjoy the views and celebrate the end of our holiday.The restaurant is very classy, a similar vibe that you get in the Shard or the Gherkin in London. The views are amazing and the whole idea of moving around is really interesting and intriguing. Now what i did not like:- we booked with 40% off offer and once we sat at the table we were informed that this only applies to the lounge. Nowhere on the site does it say that, I even checked now the terms and conditions on the booking site and all it says are the dates the offer is available. We decided to stay anyway but since the overall experience wasn't that great I have grown to be more annoyed about this and should have left.- it took 25 minutes to take our order. The restaurant wasn't that busy but it was clearly understaffed. I understand they want you to enjoy the view but that is quite a long time.- we ordered a sharing meal with 3 sides to share (as per menu) and steak. The steak was huge and was supposed to be medium rare, it was very well done. The sides were good but 6 chips (however thick they were) for two people is a bit of joke. We had to ask for the sauces that we ordered as they forgot.It's a very fancy place and you would just expect more from them if this is the money they are charging. It was definitely the most disappointing meal of the trip food wise. This outstanding seafood restaurant is behind the Intercontinental Hotel and is considered a hotel restaurant.I have never been disappointed- the seafood and fish is super fresh and they cook it perfectly.I had grilled gulf sole which is my favorite. My companions had the sole, scallops, mussels, giant tiger prawns, sardines and soft shell crabs.We ordered garlic rice and a major serving of tempura vegetables.What a fabulous meal !! I highly recommend this restaurant and try to visit it every time I am in Abu Dhabi.Prices are not excessive.
