Nearly crossing northern Italy from the Adriatic Sea westward, Emilia-Romagna gets its name from Via Emilia, the Rimini-to-Piacenza ancient Roman road it straddles. With a rich mix of age-old agriculture and modern industry, the region is home to many historic and cultural gems, both in its larger towns like Bologna, Modena and Ravenna, as well as in its many small hilltop villages. Of course, the region’s best offerings also include native culinary wonders like parmigiano cheese and tortellini.

Just inside the Cento Laghi (100 lakes) national park, bordering the woods, there is an old group of houses, residual of a small village, completely renovated and run by Susanna and her husband. The rooms are nice and quiet, with a kitchen and living room in common, all in old stones, with a garden for the summer, and a magnificent view. Breakfast is full of cakes, jams and honeys all produced directly by her, mostly with their own fruits. the village of Bosco is 15 minutes away by foot, and you can access the park directly from the house or drive 10 minutes and shorten your walk. Note: this morning I had a whole family of bambis grazing lazily as I watched sipping my tea, while listening to the call of cows calling for their morning milking....

Morattina is an agricultural complex in the area between Brisighella and Faenza in the Italian region of Romagna set between the lively Adriatic sea and the silence of the Appennins, in a landscape of fields, vines and olive trees. The Estate is easy to reach from Bologna airport, offering 6 furnished rooms with bathrooms. Discovering the uniqueness of our wine we hope that you want to enjoy the typical fresh products with us.
I use to go to Morattina for weekend or just for a quick break from the noises of Bologna and its always one the best places I've ever been in our beatiful country. Stunning views, magic atmospheres, perfect climate in all seasons and the best hospitality typical of Romagna region and more. Food is tasty and delicious and wine made in Morattina is probably better than the wine you drink in Chiantishire. The park around and the countryside nearside is perfect for walking, cycling and biking. Finally, sleeping in Morattina is a peaceful experience and something really unforgettable.

Excellent experience! Fabulous place. We were 16 people and everyone enjoyed our stay. Each room was individually decorated and had A/C! The food was delicious and the friendly service and their hospitality topped it all! We loved the super modern swimming pool! Don’t forget to buy some olive oil before you leave !

The B&B Pomarancio fits perfectly into its prestigious context, still intact and authentic, yet unknown to most visitors: the Montefeltro region. Our B&B is a historic home that was recently renovated by recuperating its warm and welcoming original materials: the wooden beams are once again visible to the eye, as well as the handmade cotto tile floors and the original staircase from the 17th century. We furnished the Pomarancio to fit our taste, the place has remained unchanged, yet we have reconciled it with comfort and refinement. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom, autonomous heating, a minibar, Bellora linens, complimentary Wi-Fi, antique furniture and objects of art. The name of each room is meant to introduce the guests to our territory and its distinguished personalities and historical events. Each room has a different view: in the east overlooking the sea, and in the west, the Nerone Mountains and the town of Carpegna.
Great place to stay in Mondaino. Has everything you need, close to the centre and kind hosts. We were on the last floor and it did get a bit warm but the room offers a ventilator which helps. The breakfast was also very good with charming hosts.

The Gaggioli family, who has been working these lands for nearly forty years, not only dedicates itself to the wine production, but also to a modern agritourism immersed in the greenery of a hill a few minutes by car from Bologna and the main motorways. There are Twelve beds in both double and single rooms: the kind of accommodation offered is very wide. Moreover, a big kitchen is at the disposal of banquets, parties and company lunches with traditional menus based on typical products. There is also a sales point. Borgo delle Vigne represents the ideal base for excursions on foot (CAI paths and naturalistic itineraries), by horse, motorbike and mountain bike. Thanks also to the indications of the near IAT office, you can reach by car or with the local train the most famous touristic destinations, all the regional art cities, the Adriatic coast, the near golf fields, or you can go through the thematic itineraries related to motors, food and drink, art, thermal waters and nature .
We felt very welcome from the first minute of arrival. The room was very tidy and the bathroom clean. The dinner with tasting of their own wines was very delicious, although you are not used to have that much for one meal. The vineyard tour was a smaller disappointment. Elena told basic facts, but couldn´t (didn´t?) understand our questions. On Sunday we had not booked a lunch, but it was fixed for us - again all too much to eat... Their Pignoletto is very good. Letizia, Elena and all the other in the staff were all very friendly

When you first find this cute stone country house, it appears small and in the middle of nowhere. OK, it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but what a wonderful nowhere it is! The property is fenced and gated and very private. From the front it appears small. Once you are inside, there is a lovely, well appointed kitchen and a huge great room beyond. On the main level there are two bedrooms and two baths. On the lower level there are three bedrooms and baths and another kitchen. Since it was only the two of us and our small cat, we stayed on the main floor. We were very comfortable and happy with our choice. The beds are pleasant, but in an old-fashioned way. Rather hard and bouncy! Not a "real" problem though. The views from the rear windows and from the back terrace are breathtaking. Luca was disappointed that we did not require breakfast. We plan to return to this lovely Italian paradise again next year with friends in tow. It would be a great friends vacation house...and then we may take Luca up on the B&B! Super place! And well located to a great restaurant and not to far into town. And, by-the-way, the castle-town you can see in the distance, is reachable via the road to the left out of the gate...many great surprises near this retreat! (NOT A HOTEL)

We were visiting family but wanted to be considerate of coronavirus, so stayed here. Roberto was very helpful and considerate of the new rules regarding coronavirus. The rooms are excellent, large self contained facilities with small kitchen with everything you might need. Lovely clean bathroom. Plenty of parking and outside space, particularly nice for children . Highly recommended. Will return

My family and I are from Australia and wanted a stay in the countryside as part of a recent holiday around Italy. We picked a great place. We had issues with our car and Luca was so helpful assisting us to find someone to fix our car. The accommodation is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and renovated to fit the property, the pool is a good size, and the food was absolutely outstanding. We would come back just for the food. I have 2 children who are 14 and 12 years old and they also really enjoyed their stay. I would go again every year - great people, beautiful countryside and fantastic food.

What a wonderful place. Located in a tiny hamlet on the side of a hill overlooking Bardi castle. There is only one word i can use for this place and the word is immaculate. Everything is spotless but that is just the beginning. The breakfast is as good as you will get anywhere! fantastic ham and cheeses, home made yogurts. Excellent coffee italian or european style. Connected to the B & B is a spa suite where you can lounge in the bath or have a relaxing massage with their home made lavender oil. This is the kind of place to read a book, write a book or just chill out. There are some fantastic local restaurants and Bardi is 20 mins by car. If you want to party and rave this is not for you but if you want a stunning house and a superb location you will not beat this place.
