Only pilots would understand why anyone would spend that much for a bite! For non pilots, that includes price of gas, etc. With that out of the way, it is a very nice little airport to fly into, which incidentally is the largest Skydiving center in the world. Watching the skydiving is an added bonus. Bent Prop is also a very nice, cosy and friendly restaurant and probably the only on field restaurant close by that is open for dinner and which has a bar. Not much use for pilots who cannot drink and fly!!

It certainly does seem strange to pull into a KOA for a restaurant. Based on reviews, we stopped here on our way to Tucson. We were there before it opened, so were the first to go in. It seats 45, and most tables were reserved. The reviews say it's best to reserve, and although it seemed hard to believe, I understand it now.
My husband had a 16 oz ribeye steak, which he said was delicious. A man stood just outside, tending the BBQ. I had the BBQ pulled pork and it was really good too. Baked potatoes done perfectly, a small side salad, and we had non-alcoholic drinks. They do have happy hour between 2 and 4 for drinks though.
For a last-minute decision, it certainly was a great fit. The staff were friendly and interesting too, which was a bonus.
Yes, we would come again.

For a road-side stop they sure move slow. You want to get in and get out yet they could care less. Ha done person working the register and one in the back and had 3 guys standing behind the counter doing nothing.

Stopped in based on other reviews and were not impressed, food is greasy, fries cold, Although the service was great doesn't say much about the food. We know it's going to be a Zantac night tonight!

I have now eaten there several times. Each time was a different experience... But the food is always good; service is excellent and the owners are caring people who know their regulars. They are only open during "snowbird season"... late fall through late spring. They have a varied menu from gyros to baked spaghetti... anything is good. There are daily specials and they do have bar service. It's a great find with really good food. Try it sometime, you will not be disappointed.

While traveling we accidentally discovered Eloy's GEM! The Desert Tumbleweed Inn is a fun place, serving good food...playing toe tappin' music...what a joy!
The night we were there CC Collier was singing and strumming his guitar. CC has a perfect 'Country' voice that makes you want to 'kick up your heels' with the locals who were on the dance floor. A bonus...the locals were friendly and welcoming which added to our evening.
We had our dinner there served by Ginni who was friendly, pleasant and informative. Good job Ginni

As residents of Robson Ranch, AZ, we eat here often. The food is almost always very good. They do seem to have trouble hiring, and keeping, excellent wait staff. Prices are very reasonable.

Located on the golf course, it doesn’t look like much when you pull up. We sat in bar so my husband could watch a golf tournament on tv. Great breakfast. I had the omelet for $9 and you get to choose any three items. Also...MoreThank you so much for your kind comments and we look forward to serving you again soon :)
