I often pop in for coffee and a cake while cycling the Deeside way.
I ask for an extra strong, extra hot latte and it’s alway delicious. All the home baking is wonderful but I particularly love the raspberry Bakewell muffins, mouthwatering!
This prices for coffee and cake are extremely reasonably too.
The staff are all wonderful Gillian in particular has a fabulous manner with the customers.
They have ample Seating and usually serve coffee and snacks in the conservatory.
The Milton is in a beautiful setting with ample parking

Casa Salvatore started many years ago and was founded by Salvatore Vaccarino who originated from Sicily. Salvatore set up the small family business and it continued to grow from strength to strength. In 2007, he decided that it was time to retire. Colin Cruickshank, who has worked and trained as Head Chef with Salvatore since 1997 decided that becoming the owner of Casa Salvatore would be a great opportunity. Colin and his wife, Jill, bought over the restaurant and have continued with the same traditional Italian family traditions. Casa Salvatore take great pride in using both fresh and local ingredients, personally selected Italian produce, to provide a truly authentic and intimate dining experience. "We would personally like to thank all our staff, customers, friends and family for all their support over the years. We could not have done it without you. We hope that our customers enjoy the excitement of our new menu and enjoy many of our new dishes. Any questions you may have we would be happy to answer" Grazie e buon divertimento! Buon appetito! (Thank you and enjoy!) Colin & Jill x
Last week we took a table of seven for a Business Dinner. Casa Salvatore is a favourite of mine and not thru rose coloured specs! The selection is good without becoming a burden to read and the food is always well prepared. The restaurant was busy with three large parties including our table. Several of our party had chicken breast stuffed with cheese (the specifics I don't recall). I opted for the Risotto with chicken (extra Pds 2.50) and indeed we all enjoyed most excellent fayre! A table opposite was enjoying Pizza and it is clear to see why they are rated highly in the Scottish Italian Awards. Great food, good ambience and excellent service. I cannot say anything negative; the standard is constant.

Four of us went to the Valentine’s night. We enjoyed the cocktails to start with and also the smaller tasters. We were glad we were not rushed to our private room and stayed in the bar for a drink after we had our cocktails. Staff were attentive. Meal was very good, nice starters, good main course we all had the beef and it was cooked to how we each asked, dessert was good too. We did think it was overpriced for the evening quite a lot of money, package at £69.00 each and then a couple of rounds of drinks, to add to the Bill.
Later in the evenng there were two small children running up and down outside our room screaming at the top of their voices. They were with some guests in the opposite room, who had allowed them to run wild. Did not expect that at a Valentines Dinner.
One thing I did not like was the background music which seemed to be on a three minute loop with a solo piano player, began to grate on my nerves after a while. Luckily we found a button to turn it off. I would suggest to the Management a compilation of different music.
No complaints about the food, may try again soon and just pick from the menu, possible for lunch.

A short notice booking for a thank you meal following a successful car repair! Appreciated the shared starter option of battered mushrooms followed by two steak ale pies completely unbeatable! This friendly homely atmospheric restaurant never lets you down. All at very reasonable cost. Can’t recommend it too highly. Simply the best!

My husband and I popped in past on Sunday after wandering into town as I fancied some soup and luckily broth was on the menu! It was absolutely gorgeous and I had a very tasty hot chocolate to go along with it while my husband had a coffee and croissant filled with cheese. We were just over £10 for all of that which I thought was good value and the service was very friendly and fast.
They've got a huge selection of sweets and lots of ice cream choices if you fancy also. Highly recommended.

Visited here for a quick afternoon lunch. Thought it must be good as the place was so busy we had to wait to be seated after ordering. I was however underwhelmed by the quality of the offering and, after having to ask 3 times for out ordered coffees to be served, we left somewhat disappointed. We will not be hurrying back

Bar is relaxed & Casual Restaurant is a bit smarter, and a more suitable family environment.
Warm, friendly welcome from lovely staff. It was lunchtime but fortunately they had a senior citizens menu. The main course also included a soup. The cream of cauliflower soup was excellent. Very tasty. My wife had the macaroni and I had the fish. Both meals...MoreThank you for your review, glad you enjoyed your visit to the Linsmohr and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon !! Emma.

Had lunch here meeting an old friend and her granddaughter.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful and could not be faulted at all. However, the dining room, although it has a nice view over the Ythan, is a bit dowdy and old fashioned. Nevertheless, it was quite busy for a Monday lunch time. The menu is extensive and goes from snacky things like pannini and baked potatoes to steaks and all sorts of other options. I had the haddock and chips and my companion had the liver. Quantities were good but the quality was fairly average. My fish was nice and fresh but it had been a bit overdone so the batter was a bit browner than it should have been. It came with chips and frozen peas, not particularly imaginative, though I recognise there's not too much you can do with fish and chips. Maybe I was just a bit unlucky, but I think they could do a little better. However, as I said, the waiting staff were very nice and helpful.
