Stopped by with family and this DQ was fast, friendly and accurate. The only draw back was that they ran out of Chocolate Dilly Bars, bu they did offer alternative flavors that I had not tried before. The place was clean and I would visit again.

The Market Creamery is home to delicious locally made ice cream. A quaint, vintage style outpost for the best hand dipped ice cream Elkins has to offer. Our ice cream comes from Happy Cows, that are not free from antibiotics and hormones. Try our family recipe for BBQ Nachos, as well as daily fresh donuts, and assortments of candies. Located right beside The Delmonte Market on Railroad Avenue
The ice cream is delivered fresh from the Homestead Resort creamery in Homestead, VA. High butterfat cream without the additives in store bought ice cream. The flavors vary from day to day. The luscious smooth creamy texture is soothing. The shop is small, but there are tables with umbrellas to sit outside and enjoy your heavenly treat.

This was recommended by someone that lived over 50 miles away. It is different add is in a neighborhood house. I had chips and salsa to start with, chips crisp and salsa just above mild. Then I had the steak fajitas. The steak was cooked more than I asked, medium rare, but was tender and tasty. A lot if food in a unique setting with reasonable prices

I don't expect much from a grill in a college town. Bar food and okay service. This place was a cut above both of my expectations. The menu is rather typical, though they have given dishes cute names, like Lizard Lips (jalapeno poppers with bacon). I had a pizza which, while not among the best I've ever had, was certainly good. My friend had a sandwich concoction called, I think, Lara's Choice, or something like that. He said it was quite good. Our server was probably a student at D&E. I'm sure it will be the only time in my life I hear a college co-ed say, "I have Lizard Lips!" Those Lizard Lips, by the way, were delicious.

Had dinner here with family (seven of us) on 10/17. Liked it so much, we came back again the next night (10/18). Food on both evenings was delicious (we had a variety: steak salads, new york strip, pulled pork sandwich, salmon, surf & turf, baked steak). No complaints from anyone! Had homemade onion rings (simply delicious) both evenings. Our servers (Courtney and Kristine) were both excellent. Quick with drink refills or answering questions or bringing bread or other needed items. Food is reasonably priced (for instance baked steak with two sides is $12.00) This is one of their most ordered meals. The owner told us they serve 1400 baked steak orders per month! Wine/beer list is not extensive, but the prices can't be beat. $12.00 for a bottle of Burlwood or Woodbridge Pinto Noir. Their signature cinnamon rolls ($1.50 each) round out the meals nicely.
If you visited a while ago, go back. The restaurant changed hands within the last year and it is so much better than before. Great food, good service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit to the 1863 grill when you are in Elkins.

Scotties was the choice of our group for several meals, breakfasts and suppers. Some of our group had previously eaten at this restaurant and we were delighted to join them for great food and service. Scotties is family owned and we enjoyed meeting Owner, Elizabeth, son, Randy and daughter, Susan. We could not have been happier (with the many available eateries) to have stopped at Scotties.

We have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed our visits. Brick Oven Pizzas are made with quality meats. The beer is always cold. Salads are good and all dressings are house made. Their salted carmel butter is over the top good. Seating is raised so that you talk to your server on the same level. I asked my waitress a question that she could not answer. She had the chef come out and talk to me personally. The Vintage always seems to have the right touch. Caring never goes out of style. The atmosphere is clean and high quality. Vintage cares about the details and it shows. I'm a hard guy to impress. They don't pretend to be a quality restaurant. They deliver nothing but quality. Try it. I'm sure you'll agree.

This pizza is very delicious—reminds me of what we had in Italy. I thought I'd never be able to taste pizza that good again without travelling back to Naples. I prefer the plain cheese pizza he as ready-to-go—really full-flavored without the need for all the extra toppings.
They have great hours and the service has greatly improved since they opened. Very friendly, very reasonable prices. $5 for two slices and drink lunch will fill you up all day.

My husband and I stopped here for a Sunday afternoon dinner and boy were we pleased with the service and food! We had the ribs and brisket with sweet potato fries and coleslaw and both were delicious! We also had fried green tomatoes which were ok and mixed berry tart which was a great finish to a delicious dinner!
