Spanish style large town hotel
Reviewed By Ed M‘Spanish’ Traditional style town hotel, one block back from the seafront, lots of marble. Efficient checkin, food size room if slightly old fashioned decor. Quiet and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, variety of fresh breads and pastries, bacon and eggs, Nespresso and normal coffee options. Didn’t use the spa.

Reviewed By RozandSquimPicked the key card up from the Hotel Spa Porto Cristo down the road. The pleasant young man on reception there was the only positive thing about our stay. The key card didn't work. The girl on reception came to help us get in. She spoke to me in French, even though I had presented an English passport and spoke to reception in Spanish. She was rude and clearly unhappy about having to walk 30 metres down the street. The room was damp, the bedding was damp. We had to put the heating on to try and warm things up. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower was good and hot but water went over the top of the screen so you had to hold the shower head to shower. Despite the 'ventilation' in the bathroom, the floor and surfaces were still wet the next morning. Couldn't wait to leave.

Reviewed By D9531JGjulianThe room and kitchen unit were fully equipped including, even including a dishwasher. Terrace had a good view of the port and was great for sitting out on. Bathroom was small, but well done. Everything was spotless, covid measures well in place

Great Value and Good service
Reviewed By IanFromDublinMy partner and I stayed here for a week in July 2017. It’s very central being about 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town and even less to the main sandy beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful they’ll leave you wanting for nothing. Our room was fairly basic - we weren’t paying for luxury but it had wifi and air con, en-suite and TV etc. so all good. Breakfast options weren’t expansive – tea/coffee, juice, croissant as well as bread with ham and cheese. All the same it was well sufficient to start the day and get you to the next meal. If you want inexpensive accommodation with good friendly service in a great location this fits the bill.
