Of this, 5,364 were in Rock County, and 97 were in Dane County. We decided to try this restaurant after seeing it advertise gluten free choices on a billboard. The gluten free menu is the biggest we have ever seen. It was a beautiful day and had hoped to eat outside on the patio but they said they weren't set up for it which was disappointing. I had the chicken tenders and french fries, non gluten free. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs and sausage, gluten free. All the food was good, although he wasn't to find of the biscuits and gravy. We will go back and he'll try the gluten free bluegill.

I bought 2 of the 31 Below. One was peanut butter cup and the other Butterfinger. I didn't think either one of them looked as good as the picture they had displayed of them, so I was pretty disappointed for the cost.

I stopped in on a Sunday morning. There were more people behind the counter than in line with no drive thru traffic and the wait for service was ridiculously long. The crew looked like the night of the walking dead. I could not believe that every step I took my shoes stuck to the floor????????. The owner should be concerned about their business. I like DD UT it will be Culver's or McD's even if they are busy when I hit this on ramp.

We stopped here for lunch during a long road trip. We love Culver's frozen custard, but hadn't had their food in over 5 years. Apparently, there was a reason. While the kids loved their food (burgers and chicken tenders), I had trouble. I ordered a salad, usually a safe, if lame option.
It arrived with surprise croutons! I sent it back, it returned MUCH later. I ate it as I was very hungry by then, but had trouble for days afterward. I am concerned they simply removed the croutons and didn't remake the salad.
We love the frozen custard (and the app!), but I will NEVER eat in again!

There's not many places to eat right in the area. Ray's was a very average place with an extremely large menu. Maybe they would have had more success with their food had they shortened the menu and concentrated on food preparation and presentation. I probably would go back when in the area knowing now what to expect. It wasn't bad, but it was just average.

Great summer atmosphere. First time here we ordered the Nachos. The chicken was very good, but lacked beans and cheese. The second time the Nachos were perfect, good balance of cheese and bean, great lean chicken, just the right amount of jalapenos. Third time, the chicken needed trimming, not enough jalapenos. Hope the Nachos are better next time. Had a hamburger one time and it was average. Would like to see better quality food, but it is a great outdoor experience with live music.

Nothing fancy, just honest and simple. Very well prepared breakfast and friendly service. Located right off the insterstate, so easy access and inside a convenience store. So you can gas up your car and fill up your cooler before you leave for your next destination.

The burgers here are delicious. Your burger is going to made to order with the freshest ingredients. The homemade fries and chips are delicious as well. The burgers are served in wraps as opposed to buns, and he offers a good variety including cajun, reuben, mexican, and vegetarian. All delicious--at least all the ones my party tried. Also, he offered us samples of the berry smoothie he's going to be offering this summer. That too had fresh ingredients and was delicious. Look for the banners in front or you might miss it. I wish they were open Sundays--that's usually the day we're in town. This time we were there on a Monday though, so we took the opportunity to visit.

We were pleasantly surprised to find El Patron, a Mexican restaurant, in such a small town so stopped in for dinner. It felt authentic with a Spanish language channel on the TV and all the staff spoke Spanish too. My husband was born in Mexico so he is critical of restaurants that advertise Mexican dishes but we had enchiladas and they were good. We especially liked the chicken enchilada with mole, rice and a small side salad. There was even one of our favorite beers on tap-- Negra Modelo.
Some food items appeared to be quite Americanized like burritos and cimichangas but not every wants authentic. Good service and reasonable prices, too.
