This is a wonderful place for almuerzo - just $2.50 for really good food. Every time the food and juices were fresh and delicious. Beautiful courtyard. The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate your requests, but there us a standard almuerzo. Highly recommended.

Lively and flavorful Venezuelan dishes made with love and Ecuador's diverse and fresh produce locally sourced. Our family left our homeland during this recent crisis and feel fortunate to call Ecuador home and to share our delicious homeland cuisine with
Lots of food for the price, good service, and well prepared dishes makes this a worthwhile stop while in Cotacachi. Jovan is a good floor manager, always asking if you want more or need anything. I love empanadas and these did not disappoint. Big cold liters of Pilsner did not hurt either. Not just another local indigenous food experience - pretty good Venezuelan offering. Gracias por su Visita! Y por su valioso comentario.. Nos vemos pronto

Following a long bus ride we happened upon this charming restaurant. We had a large salad, simple but fresh and safe to eat, some guacamole and chips and a sandwish. Everytging was tasty, nothing fancy. The servive was outstanding and the decor of the restaurant absolutely lovely.

Our driver guided us to La Marquesa for lunch on our day trip to Cotacachi. The restaurant is reasonably priced, but the food was pretty up and down. The locro (potato soup) and steak were both good, but the trout and cuy weren't. The trout was advertised as a filet, but was actually a whole fish breaded and fried! The cuy was also deep fried, and I would recommend roast cuy for a first-timer. The place can also be a bit loud. Overall, this is a decent stop, but we liked the restaurants in Otavalo a lot more.
