This restaurant has been in Otavalo for about 10 years, but has gotten better, new managers. I eat there alot. It is a large and very clean place and now there are about half locals and half tourists who eat in the place. A 5 course lunch (include large s
In town with a tour group and half of us walked in for lunch. Very good menu of varied and delicious local items. I thoroughly enjoyed a shrimp stuffed avocado. Very delicious and couldn't have been fresher. Wish I lived closer to this place! Also had wifi!

Sub's Station is a cozy little restaurant in Cotacachi that offers a variety of US-Style food and also some specialties created by our chef himself. We serve breakfast from 8.30 am to 11.30am. Fridays is Fish&Chips day, reservations are highly recommended
Nice addition to Cotacachi. My husband had the Italian Sub and I had the tuna with spinach both were good. The only downside was the chocolate milk shake which was delicious but contained small pieces of splintered wood. I showed the splinters to the waitress and she explained that they use an ice cream bar on a stick to make the milk shake and cutting the ice cream bar is how the wood got into the shake. Ok I know things like this can happen but disappointed in the response. I guess she was embarrassed. But the potential for swallowing small pieces of splinted wood could be serious. Hopefully they will be careful and change their preparation procedure. Needless to say I will not have a milk shake there again.

We came to this restaurant on a day long tour from Quito and our guide brought us here. We all had the lunch special -- shrimp and avocado salad, chicken with rice, avocado and a small salad and flan for dessert. Great service, wonderful food --what more can one ask for?

After some disappointing hotels in Ibarra it was pleasant to arrive at the Chorlavi restaurant, and have the fire lit for us.We had a charming and attentive waiter (was it Carlos?) who made us feel so welcome. The table was beautifully set....after three nights of bleak tables at hotels... and the food while not brilliant was beautifully presented and served. Good wine...altogether such a nice experience.

The bar "The Red Pub" is a fantastic place to spend time with friends."The Red Pub" is located more or less in the center of Otavalo and it is worth taking a walk to have a nice time at this place. Eating here a good burger is the best so the prices are local prices and not the tourist prices that many restaurants are doing! It is also a good place to spend a good night the music is nice and noisy! Good prices and service. It has cheap beers, big and cheap delicious nachos with cheese and guacamole and best of all: great music! Great Enchants 80 and 90 on the TV, and the staff is cool. The owners buy everything from local businesses that are around the place. The workers are very nice and offer a good deal. It is a good place for foreigners as residents of Otavalo who wish to have a good time with their friends or loved ones.In fact - all you can ask for in a bar!

We got perfect harmony of flavors on national and international cuisine, Tradition is our signature.
I debated between 3 or 4 stars as one meal was great (chicken and mushroom) and the other was not (grilled beef loin). I opted for potatoes instead of fries and they were not cooked (although fries were excellent). The veggies were cold. The waitress was very friendly though.

Some of the best pizza Iâve had in Ecuador. The food is good and so is the service. It is a little expensive for Otavalo but I recommend. Thank you so much for your good recommendation! Quality Ingredients is a big part of what makes us better than the cheaper restaurants...always a difference.

Sometimes your not sure how it happens that you find the best food in the middle of another country.I've eaten at dozens of Peruvian restaurants in Ecuador, but this place is number one. Welcomed warmly by the owner Fernando with his wife Patti watching while cooking in the kitchen with their son David. I had the most delicious seafood soup EVER! My girlfriend had Triologia de Mariscos and her daughters had a Causa Limena and Lomo (steak) dish. Food was fresh and deliciously prepared with love and pride. If you pass this by your missing a great meal!
