12 cabins which are copies of the first workers' houses built in Rjukan during the town's industrialisation at the beginning of the 20th century. Big cabins have a bedroom, sleeping loft, kitchen/lounge, bathroom with shower and WC. Equipped for 5 persons in each cabin. The small cabins are for 2 persons. They have a small kitchen and bathroom with shower and WC. All cabins have cabel-TV and free wireless internet access. Situated in the town centre, close to Rjukan Swimming pool and the sports arena.
Arrived in Oslo and headed straight here after a stop at the Stave church nearby. Happy to have a cozy cabin right on the river with a nice little waterfall right outside our door. Good food at the restaurant too. Lovely town, beautiful scenery which just kept getting better as we headed toward and on the Ryfylke scenic drive down to Stavanger.

In the heart of beautiful Dovre mountain, close to E6 and 20 km north of Dombås, you will find Dovregubbens Hall with its unique atmosphere, right at the doorstep of Dovre national park. The legend of the Mountain King, Dovregubben, lives in the walls of our traditional “Gudbrands”-style buildings and their 100-year history. We welcome you to a cosy and personal experience. At Dovregubbens Hall you can stay in our cabins or apartments, and enjoy home cooked food in our restaurant. We offer dinner for groups and parties served in front of our open fireplace or in the Great Hall. Make sure you visit our souvenir shop.
We booked a two bed room apartment in a house next to the restaurant. All wood , pleasantly spacious , good kitchen . Friendly staff . Even though my bedroom was on the street side you could sleep with an open window . Great pillows and duvets . I would stay here again . Have not eaten at the restaurant .

Apartment was ok, but the cleaning was poor. We found cheese among the cutlery, the coffee machine was dirty, and had used coffee ground….. The apartment had a strange smell, like a football team of old men, that just had played 90 minutes and skipped the shower… Swimming pool was ok.

The hotel is located on a big area in the centre of Koppang village where you will find most stores and shops needed. Our friendly hotel consists of 11 houses, nine of them are historical 17th - 19th Century wooden buildings and one is protected by the National Heritage law. We got our own historical museum with a unique collection of paintings, antique maps and rare books 15th - 20th Century. In the restaurant and cafe we are making home made food and and our own cakes. Our pub "Nye Ladden" in a country house from 1850 is a very popular meeting point among local People and visitors during the weekends. 19 bed rooms dived on three houses are available.
