It was the administrative centre of the Rhodope-Evros super-prefecture until its abolition in 2010, by the Kallikratis Plan. The city is home to the Democritus University of Thrace, founded in 1973. The most pleasant person was the...cook! That is saying a lot about the service rating of this place. Tourists from Western Europe and the U.S. also show up in Komotini guys !! We understand the "eastern cuisine" twist and all that, but the "attitude" we can do without! The owner is the cousin of the Turkish restaurant next door and co-owner of a club not far away, but we really do not care. We want our experience in this restaurant to be perfect. BEST SCENARIO: buy exquisite and very tasty/original foods from the traditional market and..Leave! Best way to enjoy some unique tastes-away from the restaurant...
