Keramoti (Greek: Κεραμωτή) is a town and a former municipality in the Kavala regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Nestos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 115.095 km. As of the 2011 census, the municipal unit had a population of 5,115, and the town had a population of 1,438. Originated as a small fisherman's village of Greek immigrants from Asia Minor today Keramoti is a picturesque little sea resort with a faboulous sandy beach,several little hotels and a lot of vacation rentals.

We were a group of friends going to Thassos, and decided to spend 1 night in Keramoti. The manager of Filipon Hotel told us this is the best in Keramoti, and they will take nice care of us if we said we are hosted by Filipon Hotel.THEY DIDN'T!We were 15 adult, 10 kids, so a good dinner for us and them too ($$$)After they made the tables for us, we waited 15-20 min until someone got to us to get the drinks order. They didn't had House Wine, only bottled, so we decided to go for cocktails and beers instead.The food ordered (a lot of octopus, shrimps and other seafood) were average and small portions compared to other tavernas all over Greece. Prices were medium to high, but the quality was poor.Better avoid it if you can.

I am surprised that only a couple of places to eat are on TripAdvisor and all are near the ferryboat stop. Keramoti has lots of great little taverns along the main street by the sea where the quality of seafood is excellent and Glaros is one of them. We tried the Greek salad and the slightly spiced tirosalad which were both very good. The grilled octopus was tender and well prepared, the service was quick and polite and the prices were very reasonable. Worth visiting!

I went to Kima with my family. The owner took our orders. My families plates arrived in 30 minutes, I order flat fish and I was waiting for one hour and 30minutes.When I asked the owner where is my order, he told me he forgot it. The owner does not know what is customer and what is service. Stay away unprofessional, he does not respect his customers.

We ate Variety Fish and Grilled Octopus (fresh fish as they said) but wasn't. We get very very sick, my husband almost to die,he went to hospital and the result of report was "poisoning with fish". we had a great time relaxing by the beach here. The sun beds, sofas, cushions, umbrellas, covered patios etc are all free. You can order food and drinks and they bring there or you can sit in the bar or lounge area . Shower facilities, changing rooms and wc are all available free of charge. Family beach

It's one of the best restaurants in Keramoti. The food was amazing and the staff very responsive and kind. We had fried zucchini which were crispy and delicious and the fish we tried was perfectly cooked. And a very pleasant surprise at the end of our dinner was the free dessert. A wonderful experience as a whole.

My family and I visited this place and tried different things from the menu.The greek salad, the eggplant salad and the potato salad were great. The fried calamari, shrimps and grilled octopus were satisfying, but not something incredible(during our stay in Keramoti, we tried better once). The other dishes were nice-fishes and souvlaki.The service is very good!!!The prices are a bit higher!As a whole it was a good experience!

The atmosphere and the views are very good. The staff is responding and reasonably friendly. The food is a bit too expensive for the quantity and quality, but the spot is central, so I guess that is why.

Fantastic food and great service at this Taverna. Sat right by the end of golden beach you van enjoy a great and varied menu that included many vegetarian options. We tried a selection of different Greek starters which were delicious and the mains included a traditional mousaka, grilled halloumi slouvaki and their veggie burger that was all very tasty. Kids enjoyed spaghetti bolognese, chicken nuggets etc..My favourite dish was the fried zucchini with tzatziki and reccomend trying it.
