Samarinda is the capital of the Indonesian province of East Kalimantan on the island of Borneo. The city lies on the banks of the Mahakam River. I just tried the special Giant Food that prepared by Chef there , such as Burger , Spring Roll , Donut , SandwichThe experienced is great to share such a Giant Food,At noon we have Hi tea with local foodListening the Live music at the Lounge with snack menu presented. We feel like we do not want to go out of the Hotel

this one of legendary restaurant that i've come since i was teen, in our last vacation we visit samarinda our childhood city and we come to Sari Rasa as our memory restaurant.we come with our big family that about 23 persons and as i know this could be a long time waiting (as we know chinese cuisine is a ala minute cook) we order only some simple food and hope its could be serve faster.we must wait for about 1 hour to have our dinner and the drink serve too slowly too.before we finished our dinner we make another order for take away and until we finish our dinner and pay (include our take away food) the food still not finish and as we complaint to the supervisor they check to the kitchen and found that the food not cocked yet, we must wait for another 20 minutes and unfortunately the cock a wrong food , as their coordination between front floor and kitchen was too bad.i suggest you to make pre order if you come in a big group.the food was good and still same as what i eat 20 years ago

A good buffet restaurant in Samarinda. Located inside Bumi Senyiur hotel, NG restaurant is open 24 hour a day. The resto provides Indonesian, Chinese and western food, an egg counter, dimsum counter and salad bar. The taste of the food is "about right" not too salty/sweet compare to typical Indonesian buffet resto. It is worth to try the dim sum and bread pudding.

I found out they just moved to Jl. Dermaga, previously was in Jl. Dr. Sutomo. Everytime we eat there our favorite dishes are "pangsit capcay", "sup jagung" and "daging sapi goreng". My son particularly fond of "sup jagung" and their "ayam goreng" Each portion served for 3 people and prices are very reasonable Very clean and highly recommended.

I had a very memorable experienced eating here, the good place for seafood lover especially crab maniac. Ordered crab (female) with sari bhoga sauce which was amazingly delicious, jumbo, and meaty. Other dish was grilled iridescent shark (ikan patin bakar) also in a giant size, the fried squid was so crunchy and jumbo as well. I don't know why the size here were all big which make this restaurant suitable for family or friends in big group. Their sayur asam also fresh and citrusy. It is a casual and modest dining place, no AC inside, but there is a parking lot in front of the restaurant. This place is not too big, and if you or your friend know the owner, might want to check before heading because the crab sold out fast. When visiting this town, make sure to try this place. Awesome!

the place is quite secluded in the corner of 5th floor SCP (next to cinema). The restaurant is quite extravagant compared to other restaurant in the same building. The small portion's menu is quite big and it tastes good too.

I've spend 10 days trip in this town and I've been looking for the "better" chinese cuisine (since my wife doesn't like the taste of the local food ). And then I saw this place and my wife has agreed to go inside. As we order and they served the food, we were finally for the first time enjoyed the foods we eat in this town. Try it you'll love it . For an additional notes, we were ordering Fried Tofu with vegetables (Cah Tahu Ayam) with Fried Chicken (Ayam Goreng) and Telur Bombay (Fried omelette)

Often to eat bubur ayam in this place.. best bubur ayam in samarinda for sundanesse people like me.. my fave menu is kailan bawang putih, udang telur asin and chinesse tea..
