It's been discussed and pointed out many times why this restaurant only have 1 Michelin star. But, with or without 2 or 3 stars, this is dining heaven. All around this restaurant is world class, food, wines, environment and top service from staff. A dining heaven.

Nordisk Spisehus is a luxurious gourmet restaurant, where you can enjoy exquisite Nordic dishes and delicious wine on a sensory journey to the world's best Michelin-restaurants.
We have been thinking about what to write as a title for this review. Things came to mind like "Guide Michelin, give these guys a star immediately!". This was an extremely nice experience and the best in quite a while. The chef has been traveling around and cooked in top-restaurants for a week. You are enjoying recipes from the restaurants around Europe (with permission). Our favourite was a lobster dish from *** chef Jacob Jan Boerma from restaurant de Leest in The Netherlands. Absolutely amazing, like the entire dinner. Mostly we are not so much into wine-pairings but decided to give it a try. High quality, very generous glasses and topped off several times when close to empty. Hardly seen. Staff was amazing too. The sommelier and the hostess, Side Rasmussen and the entire staff are so kind and professional. Explaining the dishes and the wines is not a lesson learned by heart but a true explanation and depending on your interest adjusted to your wishes. Our compliments to the entire team and a big thank you for a delightful evening

The service was professional but friendly and relaxed. We were fortunate to have Sophia whose command of English supersedes many native speakers. The menu is interesting and the French wine choice was extensive and above average.I had the fish soup which was tasty but rather salty, my wife's carpaccio was impeccable.
The main course was entrecôte with béarnaise sauce, lovely piece of juicy meat but rather enormous and again too salty for our taste. The dessert was a superb chocolate fondant with raspberries/ meringues. The wines by the glass we ordered were exceptionally good a Sancerre and a Cotes du Rhône. Delightful buzzy atmosphere and enjoyable experience.

In my opinion it's the best sushi in Aarhus, and the service is absolutely amazing. If you still have some place left after the sushi, I highly recommend one of their desserts. The one we had was avocado mousse with white chocolate and raspberry. What a tasty ending to a wonderful evening. Definitely coming back.

Had a lovely evening here. We had the three course meal and ordered a bottle of wine first. The waiters were super friendly and attentive (I was the only English speaking person in the group and they always remembered to explain things in English to me). I liked that they explained every dish and whe we asked for wine suggestions he recommended us one exactly how we wanted. However, when we switched to cocktails after the meal I felt like the level was not the same. The cocktails could be a lot better taste and appearance wise. Other than that very nice ambience for a relaxed evening with some good food.
Oh and I particularly liked that the desert was a traditional danish dish!!

Situated in one of the most beautiful nature area of mid-Jylland about 4Km from the "Heaveny-Mountain" Himmelbjerg, this lovely little Inn (Kro/Hotel) with 9 rooms and a small restaurant is worth every visit. Our quick short afternoon visit enjoying a really fantastic Danish speciality "Stejrneskud" - Star-Shot - crisp fried fish on a fried bread and overloaded with fresh shrimps and other tidbits was amazingly good. Very friendly and welcoming staff made the whole experience wonderful, and we look forward to going there again and again.

The food is both traditional and innovative, giving you a feeling of coming home, but with a touch of modern cuisine.
The staff is professional, and they keep having an eye on all guests, asking if everything is how you want it, or if you need anything else. They are excellent at making everone feel welcome and special.

Romantic location with a nice view on the lake Jul, the restaurant is located in a typical danish building, with a big garden outside.
Normally they serve an entry dish (we got raw marinated venison meat with a roasted spiced bread crumble and liquorice powder) , and then the main course (that can be fish or meat). Everything is well cooked and presented, tastes are "danish" but everything is well equilibrated.
Desserts...you may even have an italian ice cream, from a small "carrettino" they have set up in their garden.
One tip: get there on wednesday...they have a convenient fixed menú. Prices "a la carte"...they are "danish" too, if you know what i mean.

The food was great! Sadly they did not accept international credit/debit card. This turns down the rating to 3.

If you ever wanted to de-accelerate, this is the place to go. Luisa and Henrik will welcome you with the smile from the depths of their hearts and will serve the food you will not be able to forget. We've been in Ebeltoft for 4 days and every day at least once in Moeslund cafe. Every time with joy!
