Reviews on Pizza food in Ghent, East Flanders Province, Belgium. Belgium's fourth-largest - and most beautiful - city is home to a quarter of a million people and a flourishing flower export trade. An important port, Ghent's city center is a pedestrian area that is like a museum to early Flemish architecture and a testament to the city's medieval might. Impressive Gothic sites, such as dramatic St. Bavo's Cathedral and the Castle of the Counts, inspire awe. The works of Flemish masters are housed in the distinguished Museum voor Schone Kunst.

We were at Pane and vino to have a quick meal. The restaurant wad really full of people. Always a good sign. I took a lasagme. It wad very good and real warm. You had to take care not to burn your tongue. I like that.

The food is disaster. Expected nice meal - came expecially to Ghent on the way to Dunkirk, after reading all these nice reviews. Total disappointment: food not good and made me feeling bad, service quite nice, although not Italian style at all. Donât really understand all theses good reviews.

We had a nice experience at the restaurant in their previous location and decided to pay them another visit. Bad decision. It seems the management changed too, as the service was below decent expectations: passive-aggressive waiters, long delays, medium-low quality of service. Food was not what we expected, and we tried almost all categories.

Italian, French kitchen. Does exist a very long time and is highly rated.
My parents and sister love this restaurant. Both my mom and sister wanted to visit this place for their birthdays and we were never dissapointed. We drive about 30 minutes to lunch or dine here and we almost always have to reserve, without a reservation this restaurant is extremely difficult to enter, even on sundays! Whether you order a pizza, pasta, a starter or a main cours, you will never be dissapointed, I tasted multiple courses in the restaurant and I never had anything bad. My favorites are the pizza speciale, the pasta salmon and the pasta carbonara. Their desserts are equally tasty. The service is great and the italian staff is always very kind and understanding. No wonder king Albert and Queen Paolo picked this restaurant when they came to Ghent!

Very close, on walking distance,to the historical center of Ghent, we offer you the best of the delicious Italian cuisine.
Found this place using TA, looked really good. We arrived and they were full (always a good sign) so were told to come back in 15 mins.We were shown to our table and that's where we sat for 30 mins, no menu, no water, no drinks. Our order was eventually taken and we had to wait another 20 mins for just the drinks and bread to turn up. We then waited another 30 mins for food to come out (only arrived after I asked where it was) At no point were we checked on, asked for more drinks ect. We finished our.... food, It wasn't great, it wasn't bad. For the price I expected better in truth. The service really showed its colors when we were asked why we did not finish the wine (there was ligitamiltly a fly in it) she shruged her shoulders and just took it away! no replacement. The service here was terrible, I was made to feel like we had inconvenienced her simply by being there. In short, Id recommend against this place, perhaps we got it on a bad day but as it was to celebrate an anniversary it put a cloud over the evening. If I had the service here I would have just walked out.

Authentic home style Italian food. Busy so booking a must a favourite when I am in town. Menu varies only slightly with the season.

Heavenly pizzas by Otomat.
My only complaint would be that there weren't many HOT things on the pizza menu, and I had to be quite free & easy with the chilli oil. But we had a good lunch here and they do beer in 750ml bottles "to share" (I didn't share).Hi! thx for the review! did you try the las Vega? (hot and spicy)... always welcome to add cheese or meat if you're not vegan. Hope to see you soon again! cheers Gert
