The municipality comprises the city of Dendermonde proper and the towns of Appels, Baasrode, Grembergen, Mespelare, Oudegem, Schoonaarde, and Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde. Dendermonde is located at the mouth of the river Dender, where it flows into the Scheldt. The town has a long-standing (folkloric) feud with Aalst (situated south along the same river), which dates back from the Middle Ages.

We have had both take-aways and eaten in. Menu is enormous as are the dishes - I am yet to finish a main dish and rice in less than 3 sittings - doggy bags available !Main dishes contain plenty of meat/fish and many include a stack of veggies. Some very nice flavours and very healthy. My wife generally has a sweet and sour - which come with the meat cooked either in batter (not to my wife's liking) or not. Just be careful to order the version you prefer (ask !).Nice selection of wines.Take aways are always ready on time, eat in service is wonderful. In December we went with a friend for my birthday, which my wife mentioned to the owner. As we left, I was presented with a bottle of wine.Lovely !

Service is disaster. Lack of attention to customers inside, and main course was not still served after 75mins. They served many takeaways instead of guests. No words of excuse! Never again!!!!

Called in for a midday meal,and chose from the midday menu.not as much choice as normal menu but cannot complain..Lady of the house super friendly,restaurant has nice atmosphere and most of all food is superb..its the best in the area in my opinion

Chinese keuken aan een democratische prijs met een zeer vriendelijk onthaal, kaarsje op tafel en linnen servetten maar vooral heel proper.Wat je niet op krijgt mag je meenemen, ideaal voor kleine eters maar met honger ga je hier niet buiten ;)Wachttijden: niets op aan te merken al hadden ze veel afhaalmenu's klaar te maken en waren de tafeltjes goed bezet.

L'enseigne du restaurant n'a pas de consonance asiatique, mais l'établissement est géré par Mai et son mari, un couple asiatique.La cuisine est européenne (belge) et aussi asiatique. Nous avons mangé une salade de chèvre chaud avec son accompagnement et une bouchée à la reine avec son panier de frites.Service souriant mais un peu lent, quoique seulement deux tables étaient occupées. Prix légèrement élevé : 44 euros pour deux sans entrée, ni dessert, ni café.

Just like in every Chinese restaurant I tried the babi pangang, which was just like any other Chinese restaurant in the region: a nice tasting sauce, but more fat than actual pork meat. In my opinion, the freshness of the dishes depends on the nasi goreng, which was fairly good. This place can be very busy, so a reservation is necessary.
