Een leuk, rustig cafÃ© in een modern interieur. De uitbater is vriendelijk en heeft een grote kennis van zaken i.v.m. de uitgebreide bierkaart. De âbapasâ zijn ook een aanrader. Het kleine terrasje achteraan is een leuke plaats om te zitten in de zomer. Wie als toerist naar Geraardsbergen komt moet zeker een biertje gaan drinken in Den Belgiek. Wie van Geraardsbergen of omgeving is moet zeker eens langs gaan om rustig te genieten van een lekker biertje.

We went here for my wife's birthday on the morning after the warmest day of the year. The terrace offered little room, but was accommodating and cozy.We were served fresh boiled eggs, wholegrain bread, fresh juice, homemade jams, specialty tea and the best yoghurt&granola we ever had.Would wildly advise to come here when visiting Geraardsbergen!Good value too.Katrien was a very helpful host, both by email before as the day itself.

Somewhat gruff but amiable proprietor running a very pleasant cafe which gets very busy on market days. Good hearty portions. Croques and uitsmijters, in particular, are excellent. Even the coffee is well presented with embellishments. Nice place to sit watching life go by in the Markt.
