last weekend on Saturday evening, we paid a visit to the Moroccan restaurant Walili. , The restaurant was full; luckily we had pre-booked and got a small table for two. I took a Moroccan salad (with feta....: greek cuisine) but OK and after that we took a tajinne with chicken and couscous. A little bit of chicken and rather overcooked couscous. We had to wait more than 25 minutes for our drinks with our meal. Only one waiter for the whole restaurant. At the end we paid 82 Euros for 2 persons - I myself will not go back there. I would also like to add that upon arrival there was no background music but suddenly after our starter we heard very loud Moroccan music and there was a belly dancer in full regalia brighten up the restaurant !!! for those who love this kind of entertainment. (not my cup of tea).

Where to eat Belgian food in Aalst: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I know this place since it opened in the '90, every time we visit we are welcomed by a friendly smile by the owners or one of the people helping preparing the food. My last visit was during Carnaval in Aalst (local big party) and ordered a pitta: as already mentioned in the other comment it is, indeed, too small... It is so succulent that you could keep on eating, so it could never be big enough. When we go on other moments we order the 'pitta schotel' and would almost beg for more... It is served with pitta breads in a basket and 4 different sauces. As a starter you always receive peppers and olives, which are delicious as well! Owners and staff are always very friendly and helpfull, when you pay they always ask if everything was as expected. Certainly a place to visit if you are in the neighborhood!

Via facebook zag ik fotoâs van tapasschotels die toch wel in het oog sprongen.Dit adresje wou ik eens uitproberen. We werden hier supervriendelijk ontvangen.
