Went for Saturday brunch, there were an average amount of selections. The price was about $18, which is about average for a casino buffet. The service was good. The food was nothing special but I did have a wonderful time with my family. The one turn-off would be the smell of smoke before you get inside of the restaurant, but once in you are fine.

Was in Munster for work and wanted something quick for breakfast. Nothing better than a donut!
I was pleasantly surprised with delicious donuts! These were fresh, tasted outstanding and there was plenty of variety! The staff working at Munster Donuts were super friendly too!
Highly recommend!

Trolling the Southlands for a late lunch, my phone led a jaunt East across the border, into Indiana. Never off-put by a humble storefront (best recent BBQ reviewed at a GAS STATION in MO!), I sidled up to the counter....
A very friendly young lady ran me down the daily specials, while a Q-master dude detailed the chili's contents. So, a pound of tips, sides of chili and curly fries (arrived crisp as ordered); we were off to the races.
Unless pulled hot from the smoker and chopped to order, tips are tricky - falling below oven temp they tend to harden and dry out quickly, if not sauced. These were neither, which might have dismayed some. They were, however, really well smoked and tasted richly of rub. Three puddles of their "not killer hot" sauces gave just enough juice as I dissected the pieces. There was minimal fat, and virtually no cartilage. The trim was excellent!
The chili was also noteworthy for multi-textured presentation of meats - one can easily tell what was being eaten. Just spicy enough, served hot. My only criterion for curly fries is that they not flop around - these were crisp and fresh. For a joint with no stove (only smokers and fryers), they're doing OK. If I'd wanted brisket, however - my usual requirement is a grilling and slight blackening treatment of the slices. Same true for hot links - a split and grilled presentation is best, I say!
Wouldn't have minded some cooked greens on the menu, too - but after all, this is NORTHERN Indiana! Overall, pretty well done for 20-somethings..... but room for a tweak or two.

That should be a staple at every meal. The kids love the ice cream cakes. Can't go wrong. Even are open in winter.

This buffet is.part of.the casino complex, so.you must traverse the smoke filled game area to enter. Smoking.is.thankfully not allowed.in.the dining area. Food options are divided up by ethnicity: Italian, Asian etc. I sampled many different foods, and found them to be good, but I had nothing I would say was outstanding. If your goal is to fill up then this is the place to go. However for the price, I expected a little more. I will say that the staff was very polite and the serving area was kept clean.

My wife and I have been coming to this place for some 20 plus years. We've even moved and still if we are going to be anywhere near this place we must stop. We brought our kids here when they were little, now my kids are bring their kids. That is a testimonial to how good the food has been over these years.
I simply cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is some of the best Mexican food we've ever eaten.
My only suggestion, the steak tacos, the steak was cut up in tiny little pieces with some being a bit hard, liked sitting a bit to long. We really didn't taste the steak because of this. We were hoping for strips of steak and would suggest this approach to the management.
FYI, I would have given this place an excellent rating if it hadn't been for the steak tacos.

The wait staff is always pleasant and professional. This is my favorite place ever for a burger. They let me add/delete things from their typical menu ordering. The sweet potato fries are always hot and tasty. They have a HUGE hot pretzel with cheese dip that's really good too. They have 2 separate rooms that you can reserve for small parties.

We are a dine in / carry out establishment. We have a full bar with wine, beer and spirits. We specialize in Polish dishes , while offering many other bar type foods. Kitchen is open till 9, bar later . Our specialties include: Pierogi, stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, cabbage and noodles, and Polish sausages.
This is a neighborhood delicatessen turned restaurant, which serves very good traditional Polish foods! Polish foods such as pierogies, potato pancakes, sausage, golumpkies(cabbage roll wrapped around minced pork and rice), and Polish hamburger, made from half beef and half pork. It is "stick to the ribs" type of food. You have to exercise after eating. The location is in a small strip plaza with plenty of off street parking. There are five booths and four tables to eat at. All seat at least four people. There is also a liquor bar and deli counter. Plus three wall mounted widescreen color televisions. I ordered and enjoyed the Krackow Plate. It comes with a big slice of buttered cracked rye bread, three pierogies, a potato pancake, and two man size golumpkies. Sour cream is served on the side.

Been going here for years and have never had a problem with the quality of the food served. Servers are generally pleasant and accommodating and the Aztec calendar on the ceiling of the main dining room is lovely.
My favorites are enchiladas suizas and chiles rellenos, both are served with refried beans, rice, and salad. Food is always fresh and warm when served.
It's great to sit down to a basket of warm tortilla chips and salsa to start your meal; a more mild salsa is available upon request.
Watch out for the margaritas! They are large and potent and I love them!
