Mema House serves traditional Albanian food like âClay potsâ and various types of pasta . Food is tasteful, location is central but atmosphere is lacking. Service is good despite language barriers where more knowledge about what is served would be appreciated. We think that the ingredients listed on the English menu is not what is served.

Oaz is our favorite stop on the sunny Albanian beaches of Golem, Albania. Friendly staff and excellent food and drinks at great prices.Fresh seafood, pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and a pool for the kidsThe manager Soni bends over backwards to help in any way he can, and all the staff are great! They have been willing to try new dishes on the spot if I think of something iâd like a different way.We come to visit a short time every year or other year, and the staff smile and great me by name.Just a friendly, tasty spot right on the beach, nestled between the two new hotels on a bustling waterfront.Worth checking out! Say hi to Soni and the guys, and tell them Shaun sent you.Enjoy!

Located in the heart of the city with an 360° breathtaking view where u can enjoy a great meal from our top chefs while exploring the city old town the coast line or the beatifull Adriatic Sea. An exiting place not to miss of you visit Durres, Albania
We usually avoid this kind of places because they are meant for tourists mainly and that is why they are also expensive and have poor service. This restaurant is none of that! We went there to see the sunset from the heights. Nice drinks, good price, nice view. After that the waiters took us on the other side of the restaurant for dinner. Also amazing view over the whole city of Durres. The moon was rising...In this restaurant the service is probably the best in Durres, maybe in the whole Albania. Waiters are polite, smiling, fun, professional and QUICK. Especially the one named Dori made us very happy and made us come back for a second time.Food was also very good and tasty and different from the restaurants by the seaside. We ate schrimps. fish, clams, you name it. We recommend!Worth of your money!

With a tradition of 18 years of bringing the most special dishes of the Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, Piazza offers you the most exclusive service and seafood dishes in Durres (Albania). In the exquisite surrounding of the Illyrian era architecture,
The food was excellent as was the presentation. There was a good selection of food, provided you like seafood. Unfortunately poor service overshadowed what would otherwise have been a great meal. Our waiter was unfriendly (which is not typical of the Albanian restaurants we have eaten in for lunch and dinner for the pAst seven days). A little point in the right direction re the menu would have been helpful - we didnât order enough food, but thought we had. We could have got over the above, had it not been for the fact we paid and received no change. We waited for ten minutes but received no change. During this time our waiter was standing behind us doing nothing (we can perfectly understand if the tills were busy or he was busy). This left a sour taste for us - we had intended to leave a tip but wanted it to be on our terms, not presumed by the waiter. On the whole, we wouldnât recommend eating here. There are many restaurants in Durres that do really good food where the service is impeccable.Thank you for taking the time and effort to review us. We really appreciate any comment, since we want to improve any discontentment. We welcome you again!

My husband and I wanted a relaxing dinner. The second floor of Sema offers just that. Beautiful linen covered tables and no smoking inside, which we just love!!!Gerald, our young waiter was friendly and helpful. We both ordered the seafood pasta. Nicely cooked and tasty. It had shrimp, calamari, mussels and cherry tomatoes. Delicious. I had a glass of white wine (Italian) and my hubby had a Korca beer, which he enjoys.Friendly service and ambiance. Reasonable prices.

Back in 1996 we opened our first Fiore in order to give to our clients the pleasure of sharing a bounty of wonderful food while having a treasured time to relax.Today after all these years of experience and hard work, we are still trying to bring the best
This is the best Fish Restaurant in Kavaje, but also in Tirana. There are two Fiore restaurants, one in Kavaje and one in Tirana, owned by two brothers. They both offer the same food quality. I use often Fiore as a standart for rating other fish restaurants. So if you are in Tirana you can visit the Fiore restaurant in Tirana, close to the main stadium; but if you are in Kavaje or Golemi beach, I would recommend you Fiore restaurant in Kavaje.Dear AldoTR,thank you a lot for your support,we do really appreciate your opinion. We hope to see you again at our restaurant!Best Regards,Fiore Crew!

What a mess of a meal. This is going to be a long review, but bare with me.I was here on July 25th with 7 other friends after being recommended the restaurant as one of the best in Golem.First impression is impeccable. Stylish with a relaxing quiet ambience by the pool. The eight of us ordered the following for starters and main course.4 x Tuna tartar (starter)3 x shrimp in tomato sauce (starter)1 x salmon (starter)3 x goat (main)2 x Asian salmon (main)1 x steak (main)2 x pasta (main)Some of the dishes might have different names, as these are from my memory only. We ordered white wine with the starters and both red and white for main, depending on the food for each of us. I will come back to the food quality later, after the logistics problems. We first got some sort of bread with a sauce that resembled tzatziki as an apetizer. This was really good. Then we got one Tuna tartar that were divided among the eight of us by the waiter. We thought this resembled the starter some of us had ordered but didn't think too much about it.Then all starters except the Tuna arrived. After four of us had finished this another 15 minutes passed until three Tuna tartar arrived (keep in mind that we ordered four). They apologized for the mistake and said that it would come in a few minutes.Literally 2 minutes after the Tuna tartar starter all 8 of us received the main course and a few minutes later the last starter arrived in what had become a culinary chaos. We realized the mess and thought we'd make the best of it. The Tuna starters were huge and we managed to share so it wasn't a huge problem to start with the main course since we realized that they had no chance in turning this around in a good way.The quality of the food was very varying. The Tuna tartar was huge, and nothing like a normal tartar. It had far more beet than Tuna. The taste was good in a small portion but the full plate became a bit nauseating. The shrimp starter was nothing to be impressed about. Both shrimp and sauce was nothing more than you'd expect from one of the beach front cafés and something everyone can easily make at home. The salmon starter was good! The Asian salmon main was pretty much a cooked salmon filet with cooked rice and a half bottle of soy sauce. Neither of the ones that ordered it managed to finish more than half. The pasta main was really good. Close to perfect Al dente and a good creamy taste. The steak had a good taste but was a bit too rare for my friend's liking. The goat main dish was cold. After complaining we were told that it was because the sauce was supposed to be cold and this caused the complete dish to be cold. There were not a lot of sauce so this explanation didn't make sense. They offered to make a warm dish without the sauce, but we declined as we pretty much just wanted to finish this meal. Both wines were in the 4000-5000 lek range and were really good! Both were Italian, but I don't remember the names.Needless to say, we didn't want dessert, but we were given a complimentary fruit plate after asking for the bill for all the trouble earlier. The first bill included 5 Tuna tartar, but they finally agreed to remove the one that was never ordered. The restaurant has a live band. I would recommend asking for a table as far away as possible is you intend on having a conversation while dining as the sound level is more like a concert than a relaxing background music and it became All in all, this restaurant, given the hotel's apparent 5 star class, has many issues they need to improve before they can call themselves a good restaurant. I would not recommend anyone going here for anything than drinks and pasta, especially not if you're in a large group. Golem doesn't have many good restaurants, but there are a few that can easily be classified as good and definitely recommended. Flower is not one of these.
