The “smallest town” on earth, Durbuy, is just 2 hours from Brussels. With a population of 500, Durbury has maintained its charming medieval setting, another Belgium village to relax and enjoy the beauty of history. The city’s first castle was built around 889, awarded “city” status in 1331. Today its pedestrian streets are narrow, flowered and cobbled, winding between the old bluestone homes and buildings, attracting tourists to its shops, fine restaurants and hotels. In December, the streets are alive with Christmas markets. Adventurists can also kayak or raft the Ourthe River that passes through the city. Must-see Durbuy attractions include the Topiary Park, The Belvedere, The Confiturerie Saint-Amour, and with a last thirst-quenching stop at the Marckloff Brewery.

We tried the croquettes maison that were delicious and after we order two other dishes, one quiche and one special meat cooked with beer both were very good, my only remark is that we waited a bit longer to be served, I guess it was a busy day for the kitchen. The Terrace is very nice specially when is sunny, and the inside area is cozy and well decorated.

When traveling with kids one knows very quickly how the service is : quick, flexible, with a smile, kids first ? And here it was excellent with also a very good cuisine with typical belgian dishes, very well prepared and with fresh / seasonalingredients. I'll be back :-).

This Is one of our favourite restaurants in the Ardennes ad overall. We come here every 2 months and we have never been disappointed.Last time we took the agnus-beef and the meat was georgous, very tastfull and a good large portion. One of the best pieces of meat we ever tasted. Also the "scampi of the house" are splendid and juicy.Prices are very reasonable, service is good and friendly. On a sunny day you can enjoy your meal on the Terrace close to the river "the Ourthe".If you're in the neighbourhood, this restaurant is not to miss.Make reservation, this place is very popular.

Open every evening from 6pm to 10pm during school holidays. Also possibility to open with a minimum 15 persons
We were in the mood for something different so we went Italian, good move.
We started with the house cocktail, good move!! It was jammie!!
I had cannellonni which was really good, the others had a house special with a belgian ham with pasta and luigini pasta with morzerella and basil and both dishes were oke. The basil wasn't fresh and this was surprising seeing the owner just praised themselves for only working with fresh products. We didn't order pizza but the family next to us did and they looked and smelled fab!
The service started so-so but after the owner jumped in to help it went fine.
The restaurant itself is compact but cossy we had really nice time.

We chose this restaurant based on existing tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed! We reserved a table for a rather quiet Thursday evening and went full out by ordering the 5 course Gourmet menu with accompanying wines. We enjoyed every course in our dinner, and overall had a wonderful time.

Our host at B&B La Lisiere suggested this little restaurant as we love gastro food once in a while. It's only open on friday and saturday evening and sundays for lunch. Otherwise a Michelin star would not be out of order. Exquisite delicate food at a fair price, very nice hosts and good wines to be had here :-) Love the fact you can walk to the shelf and see the selection of wines before choosing. Recommendable !

Visited this place to have some drinks with a group of friends, the waitress told us this wasnt possible because you couldn't go there just for drinks and told us to leave. It didnt have anything to do with us occupying seats since the place was almost empty. 0/10 would not reccomend.

LPM grill is one of my favourite restaurants in our neighbourhood. The blanc, bleu, belge steak is delicious, the ribs are haevenly good, the service is young, hip, friendly, the price is reasonable. Sometimes there are large tables of friends or families, but you can always find a more quiet corner to dine and wine. Nice place.
