EBC West is a full service "gastro-pub" style restaurant offering locally brewed EBC beers not found at elsewhere in the area. Located in beautiful downtown Fredonia, our friendly and knowledgeable staff create a lively, comfortable atmosphere. For reservations https://resy.com/cities/buf/ebc-west
A couple of days after Christmas, when EVERYONE wants to get out of the house and eat out, locals just might want to take the out-of-town family to a decent place. Many would think a interior brick-walled local brew pub might just be the place -- but not the EBC. In our experience, the menu was just lacking in offerings, a 1/2 dozen or so overpriced sandwiches. We were seated upstairs. Service: we were forgotten. Drinks served late. Our food? Atrocious, simple put -- either cold or baked-dry as it sat out too long -- and the sandwiches were really nothing burgers so to say (I had the Beef on Weck -- it was how a first-time Uzbekistanian would have imagined how to make this WNY icon...). There was no staff, poor food, lousy experience -- which all adds up to suspect management. I remember when EBC first opened: it was great, the menu and food terrific. Since then, and over the years, this location has just been on an increasing downward spiral. When $10 fries fried in truffle oil served with grated Parmesan on top is your "big thing" (really, fried potatoes in flavored oil with stored bought grated cheese for $10???), there is no more obvious clue...

A return to yesteryear with a million flavors, giant cones and soft serves and all the goodies ice cream parlors of old had. I stop here whenever I am in Dunkirk for a treat on the way home. Come and get it! You will love it!

We were staying at a Niagara Falls area hotel over the weekend when during our travels. we went thru their drive thru here at this location. The coffee as fifteen cents more here compared to the hotel we were staying at. What I find it hard to believe is that the coffee .trend to be more expensive at hotels. Not in this case here!

En route from Buffalo to Cleveland, we stopped at Jenna's for breakfast based on prior recommendations. Early on Sunday morning, it was filled with locals, a good sign. We ordered a pair of breakfast specials: eggs, home fries, toast, and coffee. All were prepared quickly and exactly in the diner style we enjoy when on the road. Service was friendly and fast. We recommend Jenna's with no hesitation.

I have no idea why anyone goes here because the staff is so incompetent they could mess up a 1 car funeral. The coffee is bitter and the sandwiches wouldn't fill you up even if you get 2 of them. Forget value, all that you pay for is their advertisement. Reminds me of Chevrolet. I go out of my way to Dunkin Donuts. You get what you pay for there, unlike this over-publicized flop.

Our server, Raven, was very professional. She did a great job. Kudos to her. All three of our entrees were delicious.(My tenderloin au Poivre could have been a little more tender, but the brandy cream sauce more than made up for that.) The seafood bisque was really good. So was the shrimp cocktail. The owner(?) was visible in the dining area. It's good to see this as it shows a level of "hands-on" participation absent in many places at this price point. ( He didn't visit our table. But that's o.k. We're not regulars and I'm kinda intimating looking at first glance.) Mannings doesn't rate a 5 for only one reason: ambience. As noted in a previous review, this place sorta loud. And though the prices were not extreme they aren't cheap either.(Please, no plastic ramekins. And it wouldn't hurt to have some kind of dress code.) This restaurant could be a destination spot if it fancied up its interior surroundings. (Note to SUNY Fredonia parents-Mannings is a 5-minute straight ride down Rt.78 from the dorms.) Three entrees, one appetizer, couple of drinks, 1/2 bottle of wine plus tax/tip $130.

My wife and I were visiting friends in the area and they suggested we eat dinner at this restaurant. It is in a residential neighborhood and is a real locals type of place. It was easy to find and plenty of parking. It is nothing fancy but the service was very good, the food was very good and the prices reasonable. The wine list is rather limited but reasonably priced. If you are in the area this would be a good place to go for a very good meal at a reasonable price.

This is a great bakery plus more. Want coffee and a pastry? They have it. Want soup and salad with homemade bread? They have it. Want a great salad? They have it. Plus desserts, all kinds of drinks (tea and coffee type). And, the vibe is friendly and personal. A real gem

This place continues to improve with food quality, preparation and service. For a hotel restaurant it actually deserves being considered over some local chain restaurants.
Huge pours of wine for cheap.
Fish fry is darn good.
Downside, when the band is playing @ outside bar it is deafening in the restaurant. You would think they would move the band.

Visited on a Sunday evening, sparse crowd. We were a larger party of 7 adults. Chips and salsa were good, had to ask for extra. Food was very standard "Ameri-Mexican" fare, but tasty. My biggest gripe was service - had to ask for everything..extra napkins, drink refills, an additional basket of chips, refills on the chips & salsa. It wasn't that busy, so I do expect the server to anticipate the needs of a larger party. If you are in the area, this is a reasonable Mexican choice, not spectacular, and I hope you get a better server than we did.
