Roma's Italian Bistro opened its door October 25, 2011. We are a family owned and operated restaurant. We have been serving the Southwest Dallas communities for the past 10 years.
The urge for Italian food hit yesterday while driving down Main Street in Duncanville. Located at Center and Main, this casual restauarant provides excellent Italian food at a fair price. It is good for lunch or dinner for two or bring the whole family!

Old style pizza place that makes you think you are in Chicago or New York. They have all the favorite food from an Italian eating establishment

The current owner completely revamped an aged building to become a very clean , enjoyable burger place. There are a couple of flat screen tv's for diners taking a break.
The burgers are very good being a 1/2 pound of fresh beef. I enjoyed the Bacon Cheeseburger, but, the ONION RINGS really hit the spot.
JR's offers in excess of 20 burger variations: Habanero ; Bleu Cheese; Texas Double Burger $8.95; Chipotle; Jalapeno; Guacamole.....the list is long! Burger prices average $6.95. In addition, they have several different sandwich choices.
JR's is convenient to the Charlton Methodist Hospital area - within 3/4 miles west on Wheatland Road - just west of Highway 67.

Food is consistent with all other Dairy Queen's. This one has not been remodeled and is showing it's age. It's big enough for families but can't accommodate large groups such as youth groups or sport teams. Service was a bit slow and lacked urgency.

We have always enjoyed Papadeaux’s in other cities and this one did not disappoint. The fried shrimp was wonderful. They know how to do Gumbo and red beans and rice right! The service couldn’t have been better. Our waiter was very attentive, bringing drink refills without having to ask, and watching for our every need. Wonderful restaurant.

Traveling on business I stopped in for dinner alone. Food quality was very good as was the service. Menu was limited. The only fish was catfish and salmon. I had blackened salmon and it was very good - cooked perfectly. Beer was ice- cold and prices very reasonable.
If you are looking for any other kind of fish but catfish, salmon or cod you won't get it here. However the food you do get is very good.

One of the favorite eating places for my wife and me. Just a small place tucked in the corner of a not-very-busy shopping center, and rarely very busy, yet the fact it's not crowded and easy to get seated quickly is one of the delights. The staff is super-friendly and the food is excellent - and great value for the price. We first visited because we had a craving for a good NY pizza, and theirs turned out to be super super super excellent. We have come back several times and tried other dishes, and have not been disappointed - our favorite is the chicken carciofina, and we've also really liked the chicken tuscany when it was available. Highly recommended.

I have tried all the tyrpes of meat they serve and there is not a bad one in the bunch. They cook everything fresh and I have always had great tacos and burritos from them.

We happened upon this restaurant by accident and what a surprise. The food was fresh, delicious and delivered to the table quickly, the service was pretty good (not great but acceptable).I like to try the 'out of way type places when I travel (not the traditional one's that I can have when I'm home). My only issue if you could call it an issue is that they close so early (Sunday's 3:00, Monday &Tuesday's 8:00, Wednesday -Saturday's 9:00). I'm sure it's what works for them but it's difficult to compete with the bigger chain type places with those hours but I think it's worth a visit.

Veracruz was conveniently close to La Quinta, so we gave it a try. Right away we felt welcomed. Diego brought us a generous basket of chips and menus with something other than the usual Mexican dishes. Even the standards, tacos and enchiladas, had unusual sauces and combinations. My husband tried a chicken dish with an unusual tomato based sauce that we had never tasted before. I had three chicken enchiladas, each with a different sauce over the top. The ground pumpkin seed was okay, but the mole is still my favorite.
