Stayed for 3 months on business without a single problem. Quiet, ample free parking, good location for food outlets, walking distance to Duncan town centre (10 minutes), friendly staff always on hand, comfy beds and best of all ….. spotlessly clean. If you check my reviews, I do not tolerate bad quality or service, Thunderbirds are go!

the Falcon Nest Motel is comfortable clean and affordable Motel. Our establishment is old but sturdy and sound. When you stay with us we make every possible effort to make you happy.Give us a try and i guaranty that you will not be disappointed.
I don’t know how this place can have any 4 star rating...NOT even close! I’d give it a zero stat if i could! Hole in the wall, plumbing not working, missing lightbulbs, sketchy clientele, dirty exterior. Did not feel safe either...

We are excited to welcome you into our new property and we look forward to hosting you!
We got to the hotel and the power was out. Sorry I can’t remember the wonderful man’s name that was behind the desk. We had already pre checked in so he was able to bring us to our room. We had to walk up the stairs to the third floor but we’re just glad to be able to get into our room. He was so great helping everyone with having no power. He walked back up the stairs a couple of hours to let me know my sister was in lobby. We love staying here. Great service and it is always so clean.

Located in Duncan BC, the Holmesdale House is a Victorian residence build by Rev. David Holmes in 1881, but fully upgraded modern luxuries! Nestled in the Cowican Valley, the Holmesdale House provides an excellent launching pad to see vineyards, totem poles, lakes and sea side, walk the Canada trail, try some golf and much much more. Close to Queen Margaret's Private school, and the Cowichan Hospital, the Holmesdale House offers a charming luxurious accommodation whether visiting loved ones or enjoying the abundant recreational opportunities.
It's what I image Green Gables to be like! Very clean; lovely bedding. There's a common area (with fridge) separating the rooms for privacy. We stayed in room 1. The hostess is very knowledgeable about the Cowichan valley area and happy to take the time to provide directions. The breakfast room is sunny & spacious. Fresh fruit & baked goods, eggs, lots of other healthy breakfast options. Very conveniently situated for driving into the countryside & nearby towns (you can avoid the highway entirely!) Easy 20 minute walk into downtown Duncan which is a beautifully preserved, old fashioned town...think "It's a Wonderful Life" or "Back to the Future" (complete with clock tower). Large, stunning collection totem of poles located all around town! We had a very pleasant 3 night stay!

After checking me in during my previous stay (one week prior) and checking me in during this stay with a debit card & photo ID, Ramada kicked me out of their hotel half way through my stay this time around because, apparently, they realized that it was against company policy to allow guests to stay if they were paying with debit card or cash. While that may be a reasonable policy, it is unreasonable to force guests to leave half way through their stay after realizing a mistake was made while checking a guest in by Ramada staff. Of course employees are not perfect and should have the freedom to make mistakes and learn from those mistakes without punishment. However, hotel management should not punish guests for employees mistakes through kicking guests out of the hotel after they have settled in and simply have one night left on their stay.

My friend and I were looking for a nice bnb instead of a hotel for a 3 night stay. Hi Point Guest Ranch was the perfect fit for us. It's out of the way so you definitely need a car. We stayed in the room with twin beds which was very spacious. The room was a good size, the bathroom was very large, well lit, with a clawfoot tub, shower, and two completely separate washing areas. The walk-in closet had lots of room, shelving and hanging space. I especially like that we could store our suitcases, clothes and get dressed in there leaving the common room uncluttered. The window looked out onto our own patio and it was a joy to wake up with horses in the field beyond the yard. Breakfasts were delicious - really delicious - it's obvious that Joy takes pleasure in being a hostess and goes well above and beyond the usual. The expansive property has a private lake with a fun cabana on the shore - a great spot for having our lunch or happy hour. This is the area that campers can also use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hi Point Guest Ranch and recommend it.
