Room was basic, tv signal was useless and room was booked as a double yet it was a room with a dividing door and the room joining had a family with kids in who coulsnt stop messing with the chain on the joining door, could hear them shouting and running round room all night and then woken by the kids playing with door at 5am!! £16.50 for a burger and then breakfast was very limited compared to Premier Inn we stopped at night before. Advertised as fried eggs and many other choices yet on the morning the coffee machine onky had plain coffee or tea and bacon, saus, scrambled egg, Tom's and mushrooms... Will not be using again because the price it just isn't worth it when Premier Inn next door offered way more.

At The Station Hotel and Banqueting, you will experience a warm and friendly atmosphere complemented by professional service, whilst you soak in the history of the Hotel and Dudley. The Station Hotel and Banqueting is formerly known as The Station Hotel. Nestled in the heart of the black country, and the foot of an historic castle. Legends of the entertainment industry, including Laurel and Hardy (on their 1947 theatre tour), Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, George Formby and Tommy Cooper have resided here, following their appearances in Dudley Opera House (now known as the Hippodrome) – inspiration for 2 of our new aparthotels. We are also known as one of the most haunted hotels in the UK, with our feature on the Most Haunted TV Series in 2003 with the late medium Derek Acorah and Yvette Fielding. We offer business/conference facilities and banqueting hall perfect for functions and weddings. Guests can work up a sweat with free access to our fully equipped gym; or experience what Dudley/Birmingham have to offer, with a visit to Dudley Zoo, The Black Country Museum, Cadbury World; a shopping spree to Birmingham City Centre/Bullring Shopping Centre or Intu Merryhill Shopping Centre; and fantastic nightlife along Broad Street and restaurants in Brindley Place. If you don’t want to venture far, and don’t fancy cooking in our self catering rooms, guests can venture down and enjoy Peaky Blinders themed meals and drinks at ‘The Office Bar and Restaurant’ on the ground floor of the Hotel. So, if you are looking for an ideal location for some time to enjoy the historic black country, or if you’re a ghost hunter with the desire to witness some paranormal activity. This is your perfect stay.
We were staying in the nearby Premier Inn Hotel and decided to venture across to "The Office Bar". It was gone 9pm and we were a bit hungry. The lady present told us that the food was finished. We then asked if she knew anywhere we could get a bite to eat as we were after travelling from Ireland. She took her jacket off and went back behind the bar and gave us 2 food menus. We weren't expecting this, but she insisted (lovely touch). After we had eaten, we were amazed that the pub is a "Peaky Blinders" themed pub. We had a few drinks and then the barman (who was dressed in Peaky Blinders attire) showed us around and then invited us to party with the crew n cast on the Sunday night. It turned out to be a fabulous night! The banqueting room also held tribute acts and on the Saturday night it was "Prince" another good night. Now that we know where it is,, we will call again when in Dudley.

We stayed for a weekend to do a ghost hunt at Dudley castle and to explore the Black country museum which is next to the castle. The apartment is close to all amenities and is very secure. The room is small but comfortable with a large TV fridge, sink and toaster with a on-suite toilet and shower. Parking outside on the road Mon to Sat is free for a hour before 6.00pm then free until 8.00am the next morning and free all day Sunday. We parked in a 24hr (R parks) for all day £2.00 then moved the car at 5.00pm as you have an hour before its free. Great place for a base and the black country living museum a must as well as castle and Zoo, there is a massive Tesco a short drive away. For what we paid it was great value and i would recommend. Only slight negative the wifi was dropping connection

If you're seeking a fun-packed weekend look no further. Dudley Premier Inn puts you within walking distance of one of the UK's best zoos, as well as a cinema, a bowling alley and a great choice of restaurants. Be right at the coalface at the Black Country Museum. Or be a zookeeper for a day at Dudley Zoo and Castle. Watch the monkeys from your car at Midlands Safari Park, or watch a movie right next door to the hotel. Then come back to our Dudley Town Centre hotel and enjoy our spacious rooms and extra comfy beds.
Great sized and clean family room. Breakfast was great value for money and sets you up for the day. The only thing is when you needed someone on reception it took a while for someone to come as they were busy doing other things but apart from that had a great stay. It was just a stones throw away from the zoo and Black Country Museum which was great and also local a few places to eat out, a cinema, bowling and even a Tesco which came in handy. Would definitely stay again

On arrival female receptionist very polite. Once entering room first thing i noticed was curtain was half hanging off the rail. So I corrected that. The chair was missing from the desk. Which the hotel pictures clearly show. No coffee etc by the kettle, I had to request it. I was told a teaspoon couldn't be provided due to staff having no access to the kitchen. This was due to there being no kitchen or bar open. This was NOT mentioned prior to booking. Very strange that not even a teaspoon could be given to me. Once entering the bathroom. A very strong smell of smoke hit me. No toilet paper on holder and no hand soap whatsoever. Had to be requested. Mentioned to the guy on reception and was fobbed off with a card for the manager and was told to email her. I did email and so far no reply. Afternoon receptionist guy is not very social and seems to spend more time on his phone than anything else. Seems they using virus as excuse to provide very low quality service. £195 for 4 nights seems very steep when basic things can't be ready for when you arrive. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND

Providing free WiFi, Superior Hotel offers accommodation in Dudley, a 9-minute walk from Dudley Castle and 0.6 miles from Black Country Living Museum. This property is located a short distance from attractions such as Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. The property is 0.8 miles from Dudley Magistrates Court and 1.6 miles from Balaji Temple.
Avoid at all costs! In the middle of a pandemic, NO hot water! No hand sanitizer or any other COVID methods to be honest. They think that offering day passes for you to use the facilities over the road in another hotel is acceptable for a disabled person. Rooms are disgusting and desperately in need of a refurb. Or just burn it down and rebuild it. It's in an absolute state.
