Wonderful jewel of a small hotel

Away from busy traffic and loud noises, this gorgeous, small bio-hotel is worth a trip in itself, just to enjoy the natural products that are served by the proprietor Franziska Treiber. Freshly made apple/carrot juice every morning, along with homemade breads, jams, mueslis and fabulous coffee. Handpicked tea leaves are also available along with many other kinds of teas to choose from - freely available all day long; also homemade juices can be tasted at any time of the day. Evening meals are carefully planned by the owner who is there for her guests to answer any questions one might have regarding hotel food or tourist attractions. The hotel is really a bigger B&B with personalised service. We were picked up at the train station and taken to the hotel for a very small charge. In the basement one can enjoy steam sauna, regular sauna and wellness area - wonderfully quiet and relaxing! The rooms are adequate in size and wonderfully decorated; every details is considered from the point of view of the guest. This was easily one of our more memorable and pleasant stays in a hotel in a long time - it comes with the highest recommendations!

Family-runned hotel on the sun terrace of Drobollach with a beautiful view over the turquoise lake Faaker See and the Karawanken mountains. You can reach the lake within 10 walking minutes. Our guests get free entrance to the public lido Drobollach. On advanced reservation you can also book half-board which includes a four course menu. You can choose between two or three main dishes. The hotel's owner cooks himself! We look forward to your visit.

Reviewed By Stephen HI stayed here whilst visiting friends who were staying at a family hotel next door. As per the title, I cannot say anything negative about the stay, only good things. The room (it was in the attic) was plenty spacious for one person and absolutely immaculately clean. Likewise, the bathroom was spotless (as was the rest of the hotel). The bed was comfortable and surprisingly large for a single (more a double size). The location is lovely and quiet and tranquil. The staff are all friendly and the breakfast high-quality with a good selection of items. Added to that, the rate I paid seemed very reasonable for a weekend in peak season. I would certainly be happy to stay here again if I return to the area.

Great location, excellent views
Reviewed By japeen sMy wife and I stayed in a junior suite for four nights in August. Our suite was extremely spacious and neat with most facilities one could ask for. Owners of the hotel were very professional and friendly. The hotel is located on the lakeside with excellent beach facility. Breakfast was reasonable but restaurant again has excellent location with great lake views.

Patrząc za okno na pewno może to być świetna baza na wypady rowerowe, piesze wędrówki po pobliskich górach, czy też po prostu początek super wypoczynku nad brzegiem pobliskiego jeziora. Śniadania smaczne, z dobrym wyborem dań, wliczone w cenę pobytu. Za domem miejsce do zaparkowania auta. Polecam serdecznie!

Ottima accoglienza, camera gigantesca con frigo, divano, poltrone, tavolino, asciugacapelli e bagno interno. La temperatura anche troppo alta per noi tanto che abbiamo praticamente sempre tenuto spento il riscaldamento. Colazione in stile europeo abbondante e varia (non aspettatevi però il caffè italiano :) ). Consigliatissimo. Very nice location at ten minutes from Villach downton. Very wide room with sofa, armchairs, table. In the bathroom you can find an hairdryer. Very quiet place.

Reviewed By Leon PZum zweiten Mal befindet sich meine Partnerin und ich hier im schönen Drobollach, zum zweiten Mal in der selben Pension. Der Eindruck der uns im vorherigen Jahr gezeigt wurde war so deutlich das direkt klar war, wo wir unser Zimmer im folge Jahr buchen werden. Ein modernes, wohliges und schönes Zimmer. Eine tolle Aussicht, nette Leute und super Lage. Gelegen auf dem "Harley Hill" umzäunt von einem Stück Wiese welche von den zwei eigenen Pferden gepflegt wird, lädt diese Pension einfach zum Wohlfühlen ein. Ein kleines aber feines Frühstück welches alles abdeckt was man braucht um in den Tag zu starten ist dort natürlich auch zu finden. Nebenbei kann man sich auch toll mit der Chefin und Ihrem Partner unterhalten und sich Tipps geben lassen für spontane Reise Ideen. Mit eine Distanz von vllt 100-200m Luftlinie zum Faaker See und einem km zu unseren Lieblingsrestaurant "Anderwald" haben wir alles was wir brauchen. Aber auch die Autobahn welche uns in 30min nach Italien oder Slowenien bringt hat Ihre Vorteile.
