From reservation to goodbye - a visit we remember. The reservation: cheerful and without hassle. We came with 6 people and found ourselves in a spacious well-appointed room, at a large table, in a quiet atmosphere enhanced by tasteful music playing in the background. The menu was not extensive, but offered a good choice of starters, entrees and desserts in any combination, with a wide variety of dishes. The cook used local ingredients as much as possible - creating an unexpected palette of tastes for all of the dishes. I started with 'kiplekker', Dutch for 'feelgood' Chicken, with chicken pate plus dates, cashew nuts, a small salad and a mango-ginger chutney on the side. I cleaned the plate - also a dutch thing I guess. My entrée was pork medallions in creamy mushroom sauce - tender meat, well-balanced sauce. On top of that came sautéed potatoes, French fries, another salad, and a sweet surprise: rhubarb with strawberries - a complete journey through the book of flavors. I finished with 'coupe De Berken', locally produced ice cream with fruits of the season, another highlight. My 5 companions had other dishes - same experience. In all, an evening we'll remember and a place to be recommended for its food and friendly atmosphere.

Very pricey but if you can eat as much as you like you'd get your money's worth From a veggie perspective limited choice although the veg breaded burger was tasty, whereas the deep fried Brie was minimalist Filled up on salads and veggies which were plentiful and tasty and topped off with eat as much as you like ice cream

We were looking for a low-profile place to eat outside as it was +25C and sunny. This was a very good option. Nice terrace (shade, breeze, sun), friendly staff, nice beer, and very nice filled savoury pancakes with salad.(Mind you, one of us _never_ eats savoury pancakes and we came back a second time during our stay in Borger to eat another savoury pancake.)

We were a bit dubious with a score of 4 from the reviews, however we decided to try it because it was full of locals. No complaints and can recommend. Savoury pancakes for the children were a big hit.

Vlint 21 as you see it now opened its doors on april 20th 2018. The restaurant seats over 90 guests and is characterised by an open floor plan and a warm, welcoming look and feel. Vlint 21 is perfect for anyone looking for a great night out. Our kitchen s
Visited for lunch. Staff were very welcoming and whilst one of our group is fluent in Dutch, their English is excellent and they provided menus in English. The restaurant is nice and clean and modern. There is also an outside area that is well protected by a glass wall. We had three tasty burgers, club sandwich and a three egg dish, plus coffees for all for 80E. The food was excellent and we were pleased with the value for money. I would also recommend reviewing the artwork that is downstairs near the toilets. They are for sale and seemed reasonable priced to me. Dear Cooler,We thank you for the positive review. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Kind regards Team Vlint21

The restaurant had some nice items on the menu, a three course meal offer for 25 euro and some special evening (unlimited chicken and spareribs, etc.). The portions were a bit on the small side, but big enough to not be very hungry at the end. The desert were a little bit boring with the majority on deserts being icecream.

Robin Hood Ribhouse is a medieval restaurant in a small place called Drouwen, We serve our meals with enthusiasm. Come and meet de gang of Robin Hood
A good fun restaurant that is ideal for meat lovers although there are some vegetarian options. Portions are huge with bowls of nuts and whole baguettes served while you wait.Service is very quick and the staff very friendly who speak good English.I would recommend ordering a sauce if you fancy ribs as just eating a pile of pork can become a chore, nothing wrong with the meat at all, but it's better with some sauce. The whole place is very kitsch with a Robin Hood theme, noisy with lots of families and just great fun.

At Loohoeve you experience the Drenthe gastronomy and hospitality of Marleen and Jeroen Brouwer. After working in top restaurants both at home and abroad, they have achieved their dream in a special thatched farmhouse guests indulge in dishes at the highe
We had the 6 course menu. With every course we were wondering, can it get better??? And yes, it can. Absolutely stunning food, a very modern take on haute cuisine using local ingredients. The food was light and interesting using different techniques The accompanying wine just ultimate the experience. The staff was polite and very professional. To meet the chef made this visit even more special. I will most certainly come back.

I stayed with my sister and we decided to try this relatively new restaurant in Emmen. The ambiance is very nice with very attentive staff. The food was absolutely fabulous. My sister had âHete Roofkipâ a Thai chicken recipe and myself tried the âRendangâ a Malaysian beef stew. Both mains were perfect, we would recommend to add rice instead of chips/potatoes. The accompanying salad was perfect too. Highly recommend Thank you!
