Dover (/ˈdoʊvər/) is a town and major ferry port in the home county of Kent, in South East England. It faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, and lies south-east of Canterbury and east of Maidstone. hotel,Bistro also down stairs cellar bar with selection of ales and ciders and a selection of malt whisky's
The food here is always great, however they could do with some more vegetarian options or offer a vegetarian special to make choice a bit better. All the staff there are lovely. The ales aren't the best kept but are drinkable. The Adnams stout on draught is lovely.

Grazie e Buon appetito
We were just staying overnight to catch an early ferry the following morning and took a chance on Dino's. Really glad we did. Authentic, delicious food and great service - we felt like we were in Italy! Really good value too. Mama Dino cooks everything in her kitchen and came through to speak to each table personally. We loved it and it will be our choice when we're next in Dover.

We hope you're feeling hungry... Look forward to robust, fresh flavors served with imagination and flair in east Kent's newest contemporary restaurant. Our Head Chef presides over heavenly menus that change regularly and use locally caught fish and locally sourced produce. The wine, beer and drinks list is also top notch. Old school... New World... Kent wines from Kent vineyards... Local real ales... Great taste is everything at the Marquis.
Two Taste of Kent 4 course meals for £50. Nice venue. Really tasty well presented food. Jerusalem artichoke soup and a brilliant chocolate desert stood out.

Traditional home cooked British classics and European favorites offering local & seasonal selections. Lunch. Afternoon Tea. Evening dinner. Vegetarian, vegan & Gluten free friendly. Game dishes. Kentish produce.
Stopped in for lunch after pottering round town.
I had a sausage and onion baguette with chips and a cup of tea.
I received friendly service and my food was well presented and tasted as I expected it to.
Looking round the restaurant as I ate I did notice the freshly made cakes so I think I’ll head back after Christmas to try those with my fiancé.

The oldest Pub in Dover, original building c 1365. Channel Swimmers' pub - if you are a successful English Channel Swimmer please sign our wall to record your achievement. Good pub food and real ales. Patio Garden.
We've eaten several times in this lovely pub, but on Sunday took the family for a roast dinner.
There were seven of us including one vegetarian, and the meal did not disappoint. The food was excellent, service you couldn't fault and everything was delivered hot and beautifully cooked and presented. My sister had the goats cheese and caramelised onion tart, which she said was one of the best vegetarian meals she has had, and it came thoughtfully delivered with an individual jug of vegetarian gravy. The portions are of a great size and even though we were full after the main course, some of us did manage to squeeze a delicious dessert in! The beer drinkers were impressed at the range of ales on offer and enjoyed a couple of pints of Timothy Taylor.
The staff were as welcoming and friendly as always and it was good to see a great cross section of customers, from elderly couples to young families enjoying the cosy atmosphere. We will be back soon. Thank you.

Found this while looking for somewhere for dinner. Very easy to find, and not too busy on a Saturday evening. All Italian staff who were very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and portions were not too big but not too small. Prices were about normal for a little Italian restaurant, and the house rosé wine was very nice. All in all, a lovely restaurant, especially for couples, but not exclusively. Would definitely recommend and go again!

Visited here with work colleagues (friends!) for lunch in early December. We asked to sit in the bar area which was more cosy at lunchtime. We opted to eat from the al a carte menu and all eight of us had three courses. The food was very good and cooked beautifully. I opted for Gambas Pil Pil, Steak in Port and Stilton sauce, with Creme Brûlée for dessert. Wine and drinks were good, service of food and drink was attentive and timely. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lovely lunch and would recommend a visit!
