Dobropoljana is a village in Croatia on a cove on the north side of the island of Pašman, Zadar County. It is located below the highest peak on the island (Bokolj, 274 m). Chief occupations are farming, olive growing, fishing and seafaring. The marina is protected from south and west winds and provides good shelter for smaller yachts. First mentioned in 1270, Dobropoljana was intensely populated in the 17th century by refugees from the Zadar hinterland. It is connected by the D110 highway to the rest of the island of Pašman.

After not very good experience in other, visually similar restaurant nearby, we tried another one, rounded by stone walls and plaesant court hidden from the sun. Our waiter was there in a minute, ready to take our orders, speaking english with us. 5* for the meals, personally I recommend the cold tomato soup and the lasagne casa veccia. Only reason why I don't rate with full 5* is the looong time we waited for the bill...but apparently it's the thing we need to get used to in Biograd. Really, go there for the dinner!

Familiy restaurant - cocktail bar
Restaurant just at side of beach. Looks pretty at night with the lighting. Tables are outside.
Had smoked salmon, fish soup, local fish all of it very nice.
It was a little pricey for Croatia at around £45 per person including a bottle of wine and a few beers but good value in comparison to U.K.
Waiter service was good

It was blind choice, but the best what we could do! Peacfull place with great service. Family hotel-owners are perfect with big and happy family and their employes are very greatfull!

Quite simply the best restaurant we have found in Croatia. Cuisine and presentation to French standards and you can't praise higher than that. Added touches like the home made lavender and sea salt bread and the home made lavender and olive oil icecream add to the experience.

Service was abominable! Not kid friendly whatsoever and very tense servers when it was not even busy (restaurant wasn't half full). Arguing amongst themselves and snappy to guests (us included) and telling us as parents how their children should behave when our children were doing nothing wrong and left all customers alone!

Restaurant an der Hauptstraße in Sukosan Richtung Zadar. Direkt bei der Einfahrt zum Yachthafen
We stayed at Apartments Ana next door and were recommended to come next door for breakfast. It was ace and the cowboy doors to the toilets are not to be missed! Very clean and friendly hotel with a marina view.

We actually came here by chance... a huge queue on Zadar highway forced us to leave the highway and to look for some decent lunch. We were advised that we would have found no restaurant before the coastline, and eventually we drove to Sukosan (abt. 15min).
As we got to the village we had a quick look on the area and we choose restaurant Veseljak for our lunch. We couldn’t have a better choice. The staff was fast and very kind, they assisted us in a very pleasant way. We ordered some beef with French fries. What we got was a wonderful fillet, perfectly (medium) cooked, tasty and delicious. Fries were perfect as well as my little salad. Some water (no wine because of the driving ahead) and a good quality espresso completed a lunch.
This eventually ended up to be a pleasant rest in our 10h drive back at home. Well done and we’ll try to get back on purpose at the next travel to the south of Croatia.
