This nice and small family restaurant is located very close to one bank of the river Our, becoming ideal for the summer time. Staff provides good services and is very friendly, especially with the kids. Although offers a sufficient variety of tasty dishes, it is most known for fish and the usual central European food (e.g. Snitzel, French fires, soups etc). Either for lunch or dinner after your sightseeing in Vianden, you will enjoy it here in consideration also of its good value for money, cleanliness and cuisine.

Right in the center of the lovely town of Vianden, opposite the post office, this place has a good, cosy atmosphere: by cosy, I mean garrulous, storytelling cosy, not the romantic cosy. Vianden's eating establishments are mostly costly, but this one is lighter on the purse: that's one of its strong points. I didn't have a complete lunch, but just soup and some snacks, and the soup was good and in good quantity, so as far as what I could sample, food was ok.

Presumably this is the restaurant of the Belle Vue Hotel where we stayed. We ate there for the two nights we stayed, and enjoyed the food, wine and beer.

Ancien Cinéma is a top quality café bar serving carefully selected beverages, finger food, home-made desserts and selection of fine alcohols. Bio products, kids' favorites and sweet and savory treats are offered daily. Fully equipped space can be booked f
This is an old cinema, converted in a bar and exposition room. The atmosphere (old black and white movies playing, sitting in old cinema chairs, ...) is certainly enjoyable when sipping a cocktail after a day out in the area. Yet: cash only payments (no cards) when paying the bill for 10 or more people ... come on, this is showing a complete lack of customer focus in this day and age.

In the medieval village of Vianden you'll find this hotel/restaurant located on a busy noisy street.Pizza was averageWaiting time was a no go as well as the rude service and the bad price/quality ratio But Vianden is mostly a "tourists only" place .... and that's why many hotels/restaurants don't care at all and don't make any efforts.Well now, you know

A great place in a beautiful town. The owners & staff were extremely friendly, the food was very good and the beer was cheap - pair that with a sidewalk view of the Our River and the Chateau Vianden and it's really not to be missed. If you add it to your
Booked for 7.30 on a warm Friday and had a choice of window seats to overlook the river, fountains and town. A range of choices on the menu (check online). Opted for the âset beef menuâ, soup of the day, steak, chips and salad, upgraded from ice cream as dessert to a strawberry sundae, at a very reasonable â¬22.50. Friends had the Schnitzel (massive portion) and the Chicken and pineapple curry. Oh, and a couple of bottles of Luxembourg wine! Very friendly and attentive service, good ambiance, not rushed. Well worth the price, go take a look.

Whilst the food was good quality with enormous portion size, the service was terrible. The staff really didnât have an interest in being friendly or helpful nor did they make us feel welcome. It wasnât even a particularly busy evening so there was absolutely no excuse for their poor attitude. It was expensive too so really not recommended.

Our small cozy Auberge situated at the foot of the castle in Vianden. It is one of the oldest buildings in Vianden and formerly served as a lock smiths. Today, there is a rustic restaurant with 9 modern, newly renovated rooms. We offer specialties from th
Upon the recommendation of our hotel staff we had dinner on our only night here. The inside is large, with tables in two different floors and there is also ample seating outside which is where we chose to dine. I ordered the spareribs, which come with French fries or baked potato and a green salad. They also provided French bread and a tasty dip for staters. The portions are very generous especially the spareribs!. The service was friendly and polite and even with drinks and desserts the bill was reasonable. I would recommend, especially on a warms summer's eve.
