Dibrugarh (pron: ˌdɪbru:ˈgɑ:) is a city and is the headquarters of the Dibrugarh district in the state of Assam in India. Well known as the Tea City of India, Dibrugarh is considered to be a major city in eastern India in line with Guwahati and Bhubaneswar and is the emerging communication and industrial hub of North East India. Dibrugarh is also one of the two main cities in the state of Assam to receive urban development aid from the Asian Development Bank and is the nerve centre of industry, communication and healthcare of the upper Assam region. Dibrugarh is located 439 km (273 miles) east of Guwahati, the largest city of the Indian state of Assam. Dibrugarh is well connected to the rest of India by rail, road and air transport and thus serves as a gateway to eastern Assam and also parts of Arunachal Pradesh. Moreover, there has also been a consistent demand, particularly from the industrial sectors, for starting international flights from Dibrugarh to Bangkok and Singapore. Mega projects like Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, India's longest rail cum road bridge Bogibeel bridge and other upcoming modern urban infrastructure are transforming Dibrugarh into a vibrant city. Of late, the city of Dibrugarh is emerging as a popular destination for business and leisure trips for tourists from India and abroad and the 9th edition of the North East Business Summit was held in the city with the theme "Building bridges with South East Asia", where representatives from South East Asian nations and business leaders of the country pledged to contribute substantially for the socio-economic growth of the North East. Dibrugarh is also a centre of education and research and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) organized the 18th National Space Science Symposium in the city in January–February, 2014. The city Master Plan area of Dibrugarh is 66.14 sq. kilometres and population is 186,214.

Eat Repeat is one of those few endeavours in North East which cater to the pure vegetarians only. It boasts of an extensive vegetarian menu extending from South Indian to Chinese to Punjabi and Fast Food. The place is located in the centre of the city. The ambience is average and can be improved a lot considering the location and space they have. The service is slow. But the one place it needs improvement is the food pricing and taste. The restaurant serves good Chinese but needs improvement in Fast food and South Indian. Again the VFM and pricing of Chinese is good while that of the others lives you asking for more.
A bit of revamping and replanning can change the fortune of this place. Wishing them all the best.

If you are in Dibrugarh and you can't live without KFC, then this is the place you should go to. The restaurant offers a neat & clean ambiance with light music. The burgers and fries are similar to the ones available in KFC. Since, the nearest KFC is around 500kms away from Dibrugarh, I think this is the right place to satisfy your taste buds. Even the thukpa and momos are worth trying for. All the items are reasonably priced and the service time is approx 20 to 30 mins.
Moreover, a nice place to hang out with friends.

This fine dining restaurant is an outlet of the popular Delhi based Moti Mahal chain of restaurants. Moti Mahal is located in Rajawas hotel, open for both visitors and their resident guests. The menu is the same as their other outlets, quality of standard and service is good. Best option for fine dining in Dibrugarh.

This is a well-known dhaba in the area, serving great non-vegetarian food, and very popular with the nearby university crowd. The tandoori rotis and naans are particularly good and can compare favourably with the best to be had elsewhere. They serve some great stir fries, baby corn, prawns, fish, chicken, mutton or pork, which are spicy and taste delicious. Among the vegetarian items, the chana masala is highly recommended. The menu is extensive and most items are available unless they run out. Liquor seems to be available though not on the menu. Service is reasonably quick. Payment is cash or card, which is great!
Among the downsides, it is very hot in the daytime on sunny days. There are a couple of a/c cabins, which are usually either occupied or out of order. Cleanliness is not a priority here, and as the place is getting old, it shows. Access to the dhaba is by the side of the flyover through a narrow lane, but there is sufficient parking place inside.
