Overall one of the top restaurants in Dhaka - certainly the price (high-end, on some points too high priced) but also the dishes. However, for experienced Japanese foodies, also slightly disappointing. Limited choice, despite some 'experimental' dishes no real surprising taste

The very first impression I got when I stepped into the place is that its like the small town Italian or Danish restaurants I visited couple of months back! Cozy, Nostalgic old style, Dimmed lighting.....all together gave me the feeling that I am sitting in some small village restaurant somewhere in Europe; and anytime someone will enter from outside wearing a hat & coat with some powder-like snow still visible on his hat! One will only understand this if he had visited such places in Europe before. We picked a corner table and felt surprise to see the rich and versatile menu full with options; and that too with much reasonable cost! Ordered a range of items - Tom Yam Soup to Bento box with Fish & Chips etc. Each and every item wad just great! Really great! The service was good too with smiling faces!Overall, it was a great experience and would certainly go back soon and recommend anyone who love to spend time at a cozy place with tasty food but without pressurizing the pocket much!

The staffs are extremely humble and always there to help. Food is good. Usually they serve Japanese food, not sure whether It is authentic but items what we had in the dinner were delicious. Sufficient quantity was served in the bento box yet price was reasonable. The interior may need to refurbish. They have car parking for self driven car which was helpful.

I took my family there to try Japanese food. I heard the restaurant was quite good and it didn't disappoint. We tried a variety of dishes and most of them were excellent. The cost was reasonable too which made it a very good place to visit. Heartily recommended.

What to do and see in Dhaka City, Bangladesh: The Best Places and Tips

When the Westin opened this restaurant was fabulous. Many salads contained imported ingredients, desserts included stuffed fresh figs and elaborate pastry for 2500 taka per person ($29). The price has skyrocketed to almost 5000 taka per person ($59) and the food is a shadow of its former self loaded with low cost ingredients and ordinary dishes...As you can see from the traveller phots, most salads are cheap, chick pea and potato based fillers. The dessert are mostly traditional sweets and bland layer cakes. Most of the mains are curries using local ingredients. Don't get me wrong - the curries are DELICIOUS but I can't see paying 20,000 taka for a family of 4 when there are dozens of restaurants serving fabulous curries for ¼ the price (or less).
