We were recommended Le Terrazze and boy were they right... On first glance you could easily dismiss this place but don't... The staff are Amazing, polite, courteous, helpful and accommodating... The views over the lake from the outside terrace were idyllic... The food was AWESOME... fresh, flavoursome, well presented and very very reasonably priced... Don't walk on by, pop in and give them a try... You won't be disappointed...

We had dinner two nights at this fantastic restaurant and we would dine there every night if we could!We tried some of their pasta, beef and pork meat, pizza bread, desserts, bottled and house wine, and we enjoined every single meal. Especially their beef carpaccio and pasta with truffles are to die for! I would also highly recommend their entrecote (which was better than their crostata). Plenty of delicious desserts and we shared many of them like tartufo, creme brulee, tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was of very high quality and generous quantity.The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and has cheerful atmosphere. You can choose a table inside in the middle of the classy interior or a table on a pleasant terrace outside. The menu is varried, the service is very professional, and the staff - friendly and smiling. They may not have a Michelin star yet but the real star of this restaurant is his owner and manager Paolo. An extraordinary person who make you feel happy and special. His presence among his guests is always gentle, smart, helpful... like a virtuoso.Grazie mille, Paolo!

There is a lot more variety here than most Desenzano restaurants. Service very personal and friendly in a low key nice way. Food superb....try the prawns or the sea bass, pasta and burger looked good too. House white wine the best we've had here. Overall our favourite restaurant in the area and reasonably priced.

This place is amazing for gluten free diners. They have a separate kitchen and a separate part of their menu for gluten free meals. I had the gnocchi which was delicious, and came with gluten free bread and bread sticks! I was so impressed. My friends also really enjoyed their meals and the staff were really friendly. Also very close to where we were for Lake Garda so would definitely recommend this place.

We ate here twice during our week's stay the hotel. Picturesque setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The food is excellent and well-presented, with dishes we've not experienced before in Italy. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to more than other local restaurants we tried but worth it for the dining experience. Hotel residents get a 10% reduction except on Saturdays. Desenzano is full of touristy trap style eateries but this small, friendly and characterful trattoria bucks the trend. We had some superb fresh hand made pasta (I had tagliatelle with hare, my wife with porcini) - excellent quality and presentation - great selection of wines even though the house wine (a local gropello) itself was perfect. Really friendly and attentive service from Margherita the owner. Will return for sure next time in the area!

Behind the captivating front, a not-so-good gastro-pub. We might have been unlucky, but we didn't feel happy with our experience. The landlord was kind and cheerful, illustrating the "typical" home-made pastas (looking a bit dry and dusty on that demo tray), uncorking the wine and letting us taste it (not bad at all). However, our orders came in too charred to be truly palatable: it was true of the meat, the fish and even the grilled vegetables. The other patrons seemed happy with their orders, although I don't know what they were. Oh well...

This restaurant is a little bit off the beaten track, but still within walking distance from most hotels. The interior is modern with pictures on the wall of the film "la doice vita', a classic from 1960. The service was attentive but not pushy, and all the food and wine we ordered were excellent. Nice and fresh, well prepared and beautifully plated. The price/quality ratio of this restaurant is excellent. We went to la dolce vita on our last night in Sirmione, otherwise we would have returned the following day. Highly recommended.

This busy and effective restaurant specialising in authentic Italian dishes and pizza is worth a visit. Itâs fairly large so when busy, it creates a good atmosphere. More of a locals restaurant than tourists and I liked that, families etc. Service was efficient and staff were on the ball. No complaints. Good selection of food and wine. No pizza eaten, just Italian dishes. Prices are above average.

What a fantastic meal. We went for the taster menu. The food was exceptional with my favourite being the veal tongue.The staff were attentive and personable. We asked for a wine recommendation and after a few questions the young waiter hit the spot. The view matched the food and we loved the experience.Couple of suggestions....It was really hot, and there didnât seem to be any aircon... suggest a few fans to keep the air moving... the staff did very well to stay focussed despite the heat.Do something about the millions of tiny flies around the grass area. We are glad we sat inside.
