I took my wife and daughter and two 5 year olds to Wally's chowder house for a birthday dinner last night. the wait as usual was about a 1/2 hour as expected but when we finally got our food I was shocked. the amount of food was decreased about 1/2 and the food prices went up in price. I guess if they can continue to pull this off for others, more power to them but we wont be back, there are just as good places in Tacoma likes Dukes on the waterfront that are just as good if not better. this place has an ambulance that's work well for kids but I'm not going to pay these prices for that. also its gotten so noisy its hard to have any kind of good conversation with the party at the time, even though there was only 3 adults and two kids. ill stay in Tacoma for now on.

We looked up Yelp to get ideas for dinner while staying over in Renton, WA. Grazie was easy to locate on Southcenter Parkway. This was one of our top three Italian meals anywhere...including Italy! Both entrees excellent. We have highly recommended Grazie to our other WA friends and hope to visit it again.

The staff here are very attentive and friendly. Great family atmosphere. The coffee is well brewed. The food we had was breakfast pastries and my family enjoyed the scones and I thought the coffee cake was delicious. A great place with a great vibe. If you are in the area, it is worth the stop.

As we were staying in this hotel for the night, rather than drive out, we decided to dine here for dinner. It was nice.
We made reservations through OpenTable, and were seated immediately once we arrived. We sat near the fireplace close to the window. There's quite a majestic lodge feel, which made for a nice ambience.
We ordered:
- Sauteed Foie Gras - Surprisly good. I've had seared foie gras before and didn't like it because it was so overdone it tasted like regular liver. But the sear on this one was just right to keep creaminess of the foie gras. The puff quinoa marshmallow was a neat concept (like a rice krispie square), but a little too sweet. Potato and hazelnuts were good.
- Vension - OK. Meat was done to a medium rare, but still felt dry after biting into it. Accompaniements were also OK, but I really enjoyed the spiced nuts. Note that I only received two medallions of venison, so it's quite an expensive dish.
- Homemade Spaghetti Pasta with Warm Butter and Cheese - OK. Kids were happy with it.
There was also a complimentary amuse bouche and bread to start. They were pretty good. After the meal, there were complimentary drinks (an apple-ginger sparking juice) and mini cookies and fudge which were quite good.
Service was not so good. For a fine dining setting, our server seemed rather uncomfortable and not-all-together. Our entree dishes were supposed to come all at the same time, for some reason, our plates came about 15 minutes after our kids were served, so something went wrong with the timing.
I was told visitors just visiting the restaurant do not pay for parking, only hotel guests pay for parking.
Overall, well executed locally sourced dishes in standard fine-dining (small) portions. Service didn't quite meet the standard I would expect for fine-dining, so there is lots of room for improvement. I would try again and hope the service is better.

Grabbed two bags of pork bbq sandwiches to go and only took time for extra sauce and a vanilla soft serve cone appetizer for the road.

If you love Pho and all Vietnamese plates, Rose's is THE place to go! My first time in Seattle, I consulted Trip Advisor for a place to enjoy one of my favorite ethnic meals - Pho - and discovered that highly rated Rose's was close by. Easily located in the Normandy Park shopping center, I found everything the other reviewers said about this restaurant to be spot on! I've devoured bowl after bowl of this savory noodle soup and Rose's ranks among the best! Not only is the food delicious, but the restaurant is quaint, tastefully decorated, and clean. The prices are more than reasonable and the staff is very friendly. It may have been Rose herself who affectionately greeted me when I sat down, referring to me as her brother! Because my first visit there was so pleasant, I ate there again the night before I left and once again the Pho was was exceptional!

Found this coffee (and more) location doing a Google search for "espresso shops" in the Des Moines area while staying in a hotel near SeaTac. Was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful warm and welcoming staff. Liked that they had many milk alternatives such as almond, coconut, hemp, and soy. The espresso is great. They also have a nice selection of good eats and crepes. Love the small booths with plugs. Easy parking lot behind the establishment. They are also a FiveStars member. Visited 4 times on my recent stay.

We wanted to go to the burien fish house before heading to the airport but they were closed, and the Greek house next door was open, so we ended there.
The food was excellent. We had the chicken souvlaki, the chicken, rice lemony soup. Grilled Prawns and beet salad.
I gave them 4 because their prices was a bit high and service a bit slow. Will come back if I come in town.

Anthony's never fails to provide excellent service, exceptional water views, a wonderful menu, and delicious food. We chose Anthony's for our family Easter brunch and had a great time. My New Orleans French Toast was amazing and the Southwest omelette was equally good.

Our server, Haylee, was terrific. She kept our glasses full, and was very attentive. I ordered the lamb shank. It was served with fresh green beans , mashed potatoes and a delicious gravy. The lamb itself was very tender. In fact, it almost seemed as though it had been slow cooked rather than roasted.
My husband ordered a combo platter and couldn’t finish it... huge portions of ribs, brisket and chicken. I tried a few bites, but all three were very heavenly seasoned and didn’t appeal to me.
The cornbread, with maple butter drizzle, was a very nice treat.
