Depok (Sundanese: ᮓᮦᮕᮧᮊ᮪) is a city in West Java province, Indonesia on the southern border of Jakarta SCR in the Greater Jakarta metropolitan region. The "de" in Jabodetabek refers to Depok, while Depok word is an acronym of De Eerste Protestants Onderdaan Kerk (Indonesian: Organisasi Kristen Protestan Pertama, English: First Protestant Christian Organization). There is also a saying that the word "depok" itself comes from Sundanese meaning hermitage or abode of one living in seclusion.

Well, the restaurant looks fine, the staff is welcoming (but in think not completely aware of their role with customers and not completely well trained for service).
The meal was ok (but far from excellent) yet very well presented in our plates.
There are some indian dished, but they are not so tasty (maybe spices were not adequate or not quite fresh, i can't tell)
the desert menu was not inviting. So we skipped it.
Besides, there is some lack of professionalism in the service which spoiled a bit my experience : waiters passing in front of our table with a big box of used plates, and a nearby restaurant table that was used for sorting the mess.
The garden could be better lighted because i think it is worth it.
And the bill was quite high compared to other fine dining restaurant in Yogya.
So I was disappointed overall. Not in my top ten restaurant in Yogya.
Sorry, I am just trying to be fair.

Babi Guling Bima Kroda is a Balinese restaurant in Yogyakarta. We were the first of all the Balinese restaurants contain pork that still survive to this day in Yogyakarta. We provide a menu of Babi Guling (suckling pig), Nasi Campur Babi, Sate Babi (pork satay), Babi kecap (pork sweet spices) and ayam/chicken betutu. We are very concerned about the quality of raw materials and the cooking process so the results were also good. we always want to change for the better.
You need to be there before 5 PM to taste the famous suckling pig. I missed it! But no worries you can still try the nasi campur (mixed rice). It has lots of pork too!thanks for coming. schedule babi guling/suckling pig every wednesday, friday, saturday and sunday until 5pm.

Yes it is Italian, but this is REAL Italian! Delizioso! We had pizza peperoni, pasta pesto, pane d'aglio and of course... Tiramisu. My son loved the banana milkshake, and theres quite selection of yummy drink available. Good food, tasty, and affordable.
Great ambiance and music, definitely will be back here again and again whenever i am in town.

The Friday night barbecue had a number of choices, but they were so well done, almost burnt. Price for adult buffet with BBQ was 150,000 IDR. On another night, there were only 3 items, and no siup or salad was offered. Price was 100,000 IDR. The chafing dishes were not heated enough, and the food was cold. On another occasion, ordered a Chef's Special, steamed flat fish (flounder), and got it with no scales removed! Complained and it was taken off the bill and complementary ice cream (1 serving) was offered for the kids.

The menu has a great variety of Indonesian, Chinese and Western food. The food is very good, reasonably priced, the beer is cold and the ambience is excellent. There was a very good band playing every time we ate here. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Yogyakarta.

Went here for one evening while in Yogyakarta becauase i was craving indian food. The restaurant is nice, has lots of options for meat lovers, unfortunately i am vegetarian and the majority of vege dishes were paneer based. They should offer more variety of vege shaaks that are not all paneer. The food tasted ok but was best indian food on offer in Jogja. The restaurant is inside the Sheraton hotel.

I love it! Especially with cheese. But is it just me or it's right that the price is rising and rising. But I think it's worth the price (really?). Anyway, if you want to order some, you have to order few days before.
