When we first arrived, our beds were covered with brown and black facial hairs. We asked the staff to put new sheets, but it should not be like that. Besides, the sink was clocked and the toilet was not cleaned before we arrived. The room was overall dirty, but the staff was very nice and helpful. At night, they organize activities, which are also very nice. The hotel is good, the staff is good, but the cleansiness was not.

A great campsite. Here, a lot of thought has gone into offering especially young families a pleasant and easy stay while camping. You can cook inside and there is a common area where you can eat during bad weather. But especially the spacious family bathrooms are a godsend, 2 showers, baby bath, sink and a toilet in one bathroom. Very clean at the park.

Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER is a hotel/hostel hybrid located in the hippest part of Copenhagen, Vesterbro. Vesterbro is an up-and-coming vibrant neighbourhood filled with quirky cafes and restaurants; in the midst of it all is where Urban House was created. We offer both private and dorm rooms, but the real magic happens on the ground floor. Here you'll find a bar and restaurant, a lounge area, a library, a game room, a self-service kitchen, and a bike shop. Our Urban Family is available 24/7 to assist with your every need. Our rooms are professionally cleaned and disinfected before every arrival. Please note: With our initiative "Mindful by nature" your room is only being cleaned upon request during your stay. If you wish to have your room cleaned, simply let us know at reception. Shared rooms are being cleaned daily.
By Danish law, I can withdraw from a purchase for up to 14 days. In a moment of desperation, I ended up booking the wrong way. The day after booking, I went to the hostel, personally, to notify and explain the error. I didn't use anything from the hostel, nor did I check in. You were asked me to send an email. It's been 15 days and the hostel hasn't returned a response. Total lack of consideration for the customer.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms and beds. Breakfast was ~7€ and was pretty good! Bar was very full and we had a lot of fun with all the other travellers, the general vibe was chill, good and friendly. I would say this is a good hostel for both young friend groups and solo travellers. But not if you want total peace and quiet. Showers and toilets were shared by everyone on the floor but were for the most part clean. One shower had cold water only and hand washing stations did not include paper towels which would've been good instead of hand dryers. All in all a very good stay and we will most definitely visit again!

- It started on arrival. I waited 15 minutes for a member of staff to arrive to help me. Then I had to rent my own bed linen to be able to sleep in a made bed and now the following; - When I booked the mixed dorm I thought I was going to share the room with people of my age, travelling and exploring, like in every hostel, but it is not even close.. - My usb charging point and night light both do not work. - At night I feel the bars of the bed through the mattress in my back. - The washing machines look unhygienic, so I don't even dare to wash my clothes in them - I thought there would be a “kitchen”, but that is also very disappointing to be honest. - There's a smell of bacon and pizza everywhere and it's in my coat and all my clothes now too. - The room stinks unbelievably. There were bags full of empty beer cans in the room last night. But also a smell of sweat and dirty clothes/bedlinnen. - It's super hot and stuffy in the room and you can not even get some fresh air flow, becouse you can open the windows just only a tiny bit. - The bathroom smells like urine and it is very unsanitary. Even after the cleaners cleaned it. So now I go to urban camper hostel to take a shower there, becouse this is just.. unhealthy.

Welcome to Europe's largest 5-star design hostel in the centre of Copenhagen! Danhostel Copenhagen City is located in the heart of Copenhagen by Langebro and Copenhagen Harbour Baths - a few minutes' walk from City Hall Square, the Central Station, Stroget and Tivoli. We have room for 1,020 guests, and our large breakfast area, our spacious rooms with their beautiful design, our playroom for children and much more means that there is room for everyone - backpackers, families, large groups and school groups.
We spent 3 nights in a 17th floor penthouse apartment, which was extremely bright, comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. It had wonderful views of Copenhagen towards Tivoli gardens. We walked to most of the major attractions and also went by train to Helsingor to see Kronborg Castle- we'll worth a visit. The train station is about 10 minutes walk from the hostel. Staying in the apartment enabled us to self cater ( there is a Netto supermarket not far away) which was easier for me because I have dietary requirements and it also saved us money as eating out in Denmark is quite expensive. Overall, I would recommend staying in the penthouse apartments.

Located in hip & trendy Vesterbro neighbohood next to the Meatpacking District with lots of restaurants, clubs and galleries. The design is colourful and vibrant. Daily cleaning, linen, towels and REN soap and shampoo. Common Living Room with kichenette. Bathrooms and showers are in the hallway. Use of Absalon 4* facilities. Bike rental, self service laundry and bar.
Conveniently located 2-3 minutes away from the train station via foot (15 minute train journey to the airport). The hostel is attached to the Absalon Hotel and entry at night must be made via the hotel reception on the corner of the street. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We asked for a later check out time of 1:30pm which we were granted at no extra cost. Secure luggage storage is also available. The rooms were nice if not spectacular. Sharing a bathroom could be annoying when towels disappeared or soap ran out, but it was generally OK. Overall, it was a totally positive experience and I would stay again if needs be.

Vi boede en overnatning på et privat dobbeltværelse med eget bad. Meget små værelser, men ok indrettet.

When we arrived we noticed that the room was in a poor condition, worn out curtains, a broken lamp in the bathroom and worn down hatches to name a few things. There were huge amounts of dust piled up under the bed, a fusty smell and big traces of toothpaste in the sink from previous guests. The room did not look like the pictures on the website. However, this was not the main issue. The first morning we got woken up around 6 o’clock by someone unlocking and opening our door. I tried asking the staff about the incident, looking for a logical explanation, and they said that they were gonna look into it. They agreed to let me know as soon as they had figured out who had been in our room but I never heard from them again. Before leaving the room the same day we wanted to make sure that no one got in to our room again without us knowing. Uneased by the whole situation we put a piece of paper between the door and the top of the door frame. (Picture 1). If the paper was still there when we got back, we would know that the door had remained closed. Sadly this was not the case. When we got back later that night, the piece of paper had moved a whole lot .(Picture 2). As if someone had opened the door and then tried to cover up the evidence. This made us even more uncomfortable and the whole thing affected our sleep badly. Talking to the staff again the next morning, they still had no idea who the person that had been in our room twice was. And they didn’t seem too eager to go and find out. The guy I was talking to pretty much shrugged his shoulders and asked me to send an email to his manager. I’ve stayed at similar places before but this was, by far, my worst experience.
