Clean & comfortable for an overnight stay
Reviewed By Fair-and-PracticalIt was a pleasant stay without any major perks. I stayed in one of their suites. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable with an ample sized bathroom, including a half-bath. Just a note, the large bathtub needs some refurbishing and part of the floor in the bedroom squeaked when stepped on just like it would walking across a wooden house. Sadly, the ambiance felt cold, just like a museum probably because it hardly had any type of decor. As far as coffee and sugar, just the bare necessities. Plenty of towels, but not one to step down from the shower. The service was efficient and an easy process. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the breakfast included, since I left prior to the 6:00 am opening.

Dump City!

Room was spartan in the extreme - no lamps! - just overhead can lights giving the room all the ambience of a DMV waiting area. Watch out for the bugs! No breakfast although I doubt I would have eaten anything had it been available. Several sketchy characters lurking around the parking lot. $150 a night was about two-thirds too high for this dump.

At check in the lady was very polite and helpful , she even gave us a goodie bag when we asked to become a member , first room we had was on the third floor , there was nothing wrong with the room we were having issues with our very loud and rude neighbors , children being left unoccupied running the halls so front desk moved us to the bottom floor without any problems , after entering the room we noticed the layout was very spacious and asked her if this was a handicap room she said no that They were booked up with handicap and that the manager approved us to get an upgrade to the suite due to the inconvenience . Wow ! Not only did we get to move without a fuss we were upgraded as well ! My wife being handicapped had issues with the tub front desk attendant explained to the manager the issue and said she will give us a call back . Ten minutes later front desk lady called and said the manager is on her way at first I thought we did something wrong so we waited , 20 minutes later we had a knock on our door with a smiling woman holding a shower seat for the handicapped . That was amazing ! We explained how great ful we were even offered her a tip for coming back to help with situation she refused the tip and just asked just let everyone know how great your stay was . Well here it is mainstay My first review and I'm giving you guys 5 stars thank you for your hospitality and service and you guys have a great manager !!

Great if you like sleeping on a bed with someone else’s urine on it
Reviewed By Jessica MAbout 2 hours after we arrived ex, I laid over the covers of one bed and kept having a smell come and go. I got up looking for the source of the smell and it turns out I was laying on a urine-soaked bed. I was disgusted. We packed up to leave to find somewhere else to stay. My children and I went pack the car while my husband stopped at the front desk to speak to a manager to report this. The receptionist went to the room to look and came back to speak to the manager. The conversation could be overheard from the lobby and the manager said she refused to come out and even speak to us on the issue. We took the manager's name, Vanessa Messenger, and left. I have never been treated so unprofessionally at a hotel in my life. The level of rudeness was astounding, not to mention the dirtiness of the entire place. I will be reporting this hotel to the health department.

Reviewed By Bob ABeen there - done that - don't need to go back. So sorry we stopped here. NO elevators in the building. Lobby - breakfast area is dismal. Front desk clerks FAR more interested in their cell phones than tending to the customers. The front door is a few steps from the back dumpster area of a local seafood restaurant.

Ok to stay a night or two!
Reviewed By TawnyrvalAlthough our expectations were not super high because of the price we paid. We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival on the outside aesthetics. The outdated furniture while checking in gave me an idea of what to expect of our rooms. Sarah checked me in w a smile and although their was a problem she made it work and yes they do have dog friendly rooms but I would suggest you calling them in advance and letting them know you will be bringing your fur baby! We got a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke, again the room decor was truly out dated other than the upgraded TV set. the drawers didn't open and if they did it was not clean, the shower need a remodel. Their was a hole in the bathroom door. As far as I know they have new management and are trying to upgrade the place. Hopeful they do and people start giving them better stars.

You get what you pay for, plus comfy beds, hot water, and a solid roof over your head. We stayed two nights for a quick weekend "business" trip, we would stay again.Staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions that you may have.

DON'T TRUST THEM

The hotel cancelled our pre paid reservation because they discovered they could get 7 times that amount due to the sold out Garth Brooks concert nearby. Even though we had booked weeks before, they waited less than 24 hours before our arrival to cancel our reservation. When we arrived (not even aware they had cancelled), they told us we could rebook the room for $350. Thank goodness the booking agency found us another room and paid the difference in prices. IF this is not illegal it should be!
