Traveling from East Meredith (Hanford Mill Museum) back to Fleischmanns, we stopped at the Blue Bee for lunch. Our first impression upon entering was the creative decor.
The menu offered a wide range of choices for all palates. All dishes were generous and very well prepared.
The coffee was superb, served in a large mug/cup. It was strong and full bodied.
We look forward to returning.

It's like stepping into a NYC coffee café. Always something to look @ on the walls. They host one man art displays in different media! The staff is friendly & the owner has an incredible story about her restaurant. Food? Delish! Healthy! Always something fun & different to try! My fav? Sunshine muffins! They always ask if they can warm it up for you. The best. It's a local meet & eat place. Comfy & cute. One of the Best in the area. You won't be disappointed

Wow, I did not expect to come across this type of store up in the mountains of NY. If you love tea this is a great place to make a stop if in the area. They have a wide variety of custom blend teas for sale as well as a tea bar that highlights some of their blends. If you are hungry they also have vegetarian food as well as some vegan options. They also sell some local crafts.
We bought a tin of the Better Than Sex tea which is a mint tea with bits of Belgian chocolate which someone else had told us about. I also had a glass of ice tea, sorry do not remember the name. It was excellent, much better than the hot sample I tried.
We both love tea, having gone to Charleston to see the only tea plantation in North America and trying other purveyors of tea when we travel but this is definitely one of the best places we have had been to. There is plenty to see here! Nice porch to relax on too!

This is your basic small-town diner with good food, friendly service and the solid diner atmosphere. There were plenty of locals there, but we felt welcome even though we are "from away." Food is good and prices are right. This place won't break your wallet.

This place was recommended to me by some of the guys on the job site I'm working at. I had the calamari and a salad and both were great. the Salad was so fresh and you could tell it made by someone who cares about freshness and presentation. The calamari was cooked perfect, so tender and not chewy at all!. I can't wait to go back to the Midtown Grill bar.

We stopped for a lunch and were pleasantly surprised by their menu and the food quality, Although the place appears dingy from the exterior, it was warm and inviting inside. They offered some especially interesting small plates and provided good service. It;s clearly a cordial place -- a local lady came to our table and chatted with us and other patrons seemed to be regular customers. So, it's not fine dining, but it provides just what you bwant in a lunch bar. Also had a decent selection of draft beers.

We love to stop in just for a slice of pizza. There's always a variety of new flavors amongst the standard offerings.
The staff always heats up the slice in their pizza oven & with a smile serves us right up as if we were spending triple the amount of $$! We like that kind of downhome courtesy.

I ordered the prime rib and a shrimp cocktail and my wife ordered a chicken dish with mozzarella sticks. The shrimp was overcooked and the mozzarella sticks were under cooked. The chicken was still pink in the center and the prime rib was as dry as I've ever had it. The waitress saw this and brought me a cup of au jus. Both meals were almost warm, like they've been too far from a heat lamp for a while. This is a teaching restaurant, a big part of the local college so I expected something great. It was a very disappointing anniversary meal. There are too many good restaurants in the area to waste your time here. One more thing, as a few golfers at the bar started getting drunk the foul language and the yelling kept getting louder. They left after a bit but no thanks to the bar tender, she didn't say a word, just kept filling their glasses.
