Iâm a little surprised at some of the bad reviews Iâve read about this place. It is large with ample sitting and not dark at all. Our server, Dylan, was courteous, attentive and friendly. The food was bar food. The wings were âpretty goodâ. The raw oysters were great although the cocktail sauce needed some spicing up. The Maryland crab soup had plenty of crab meat as did the cream of crab soup. The rock fish tacos were okay. Fun, friendly place.

I see Greene Turtle shirts everywhere not just the beach so we were excited to try this place for dinner. We waited for a table for about 40 minutes which we expected on a rainy evening. After we sat down and ordered it took us between 45 more minutes to 1 hour (no exaggerating) to get any food. We had ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer which also took over 45 minutes to arrive and just came out with our meals. I had jerk chicken tacos which were good, but i was so over everything here after watching tables that arrived 30 minutes after us eating their appetizers and meals. We were not a large group either there were only four of us. I am so sad that this was our experience here. Hi elay7290 - I am sad that this was your experience here as this is not the norm for our establishment. As you said, when it rains yes it is more hectic and the small kitchen gets very busy. Small bar - friendly atmosphere. We both had shrimp salad sandwich - excellent not cooked perfectly very little dressing, large shrimp and many. Even the tomato was ripe and fresh. Onion rings good also. Had steamed littlenecks and although they were good there was much too much lemon added to the butter for dipping. Would return

We were going through the OC daily and came across an add for Northside Pit and Pub with specials for hot turkey or Roast Beef sandwiches. My wife and I both enjoy that so off we went. I will start by saying the food was excellent and the limited staff were like whirlwinds moving seemlessly from place to place. In the time we were there , it went from pretty empty to having a waiting line and the food was a good reason.I didn't argue about the price, they were very busy and frankly the meal was a good value, so it was nothing that would stop me from going back

We sat outside looking at water - it was okay but not intracoastal or ocean views. But the fried fish was so large and good the San Francisco hot dog was outstanding as well as Philly cheese steak sandwich. The homemade chips were good and thin but not enough . Sitting outside was nice but flies. They had a variety of hot dogs even crab on one . Waitress was exceptional and friendly. Restrooms were large and inside.

The breakfast buffet was great, convenient and worth it! The waitress and staff supplying the buffet were all fantastic. The waitress did a phenomenal job! She made sure everyone had everything they needed to have an enjoyable breakfast. The view is beautiful!

We tend to eat at Abbey at least once every trip to OC because the burgers are delicious and they always have some exotic meat to try. Overall the food was good as usual but our waiter was loud and obnoxious. My son ordered a milkshake and because they make it at the bar and he rung it into their system wrong it charged us a bar tax. When we questioned the charge he got snippy with my wife and really loud. To the point where all the other guests eating at their tables were turning around to see what all the commotion was about. Eventually the manager fixed it which we appreciated but beware that if you get any drink alcoholic or non-alcoholic made at the bar they might charge you a bar tax which is incorrect if the server enters it correctly. Otherwise the food was excellent as usual.

Once again, this place rocks. Live music nights like Saturday afternoon was awesome. It's at the Econo lodge Pool Area, up the stairs technically 2nd level. The pool is fenced off for Hotel guests only, on the other side of the fence is the outdoor tiki bar and outside seating for food. The music was awesome, waiters awesome, food good. Basic bar food, well like 3.75 stars, I had grilled cheese, with chips and a pickle. Perfect It get busy so if u want a table, get there early.

Visited Friday evening at 8 pm for dinner...6 in our party. We waited a few minutes for a table that had just been cleared, restaurant was full and very loud. It was very difficult to talk to anyone other than person next to you..and you had to talk loud to them too. Cheesesteaks and wings were pretty good but fish sandwich was not good. We constantly had to look for and remind our waitress numerous times to bring us drinks...as we were finishing up a band was setting up and because they had door open all the smoking outside was coming in (place needs to be air balanced) and we were in back of restaurant! Worse part was the amount of plastic cups they used/wasted...and their trash can was overflowing with plastics (cups, straws and cutlery!) do the earth a favor and use materials that can be reused or at least recycle! Will not come back or recommend
