We had an incredible meal here tonight, what a great find! We started with the mussels, steamed perfectly with pancetta, fennel, garlic and wine then moved to entrees of gnocchi with pork cheeks & mushrooms and the redfish special. All were exceptionally executed. I didn't love the asparagas sauce the fish was served with, but it was a personal preference (would've preferred asparagus spears to an emulsion). The house chianti was very good and service was attentive and warm. They served house made limoncello with the check - I've only ever had this happen on the Amalfi coast & was delightfully surprised by the gesture. We're in town for 2 nights for baseball, we'll be back tomorrow with a group. Wonderful meal

We were there on Sunday to celebrate belated Mother’s Day. It was late and the place was not crowded at all.In the past we never had any issues at this restaurant, however, Sunday night was the exception.A male brought our drinks and told us our waitress was going to be with us shortly. Well, that did not happen. After 15 minutes, I called another waitress asking her to send our waitress as we were ready to order. She went to the kitchen and cane back after a couple of minutes saying she was taking our order as our waitress was having issues at the kitchen. The appetizers were fine - as usual. The Caesar Salad was terrible, a lot of croutons and not enough lettuce. The Shrimp Fra Diablo was terrible, they just put regular tomato sauce on it, nothing spicy. The sauce actually tasted sweet. Shrimps are called Fra Diablo for a reason, the ones they gave me should have been called Shrimps a la Angel or something like that!We also had the Penne Vodka, it did not look the same as other times. There was not enough sauce on it and it was dry.The waitress never came back to our table to check on us or give us refills. I had to call her twice. We were actually wondering where the Latino waitresses were as they have always been really good and worked really hard.I had to call the waitress and let her know about the Shrimp fra Diablo been sweet, she took it back to the kitchen, then she came back and told me that they changed the sauce because people complaint about the sauce been too spicy. Well, if they decided to change the sauce, shouldn’t you mention that on the menu or at least ask the costumer how spicy you want the sauce? I took the shrimps home. When I got home I tried the shrimps and they tasted exactly the same (sweet) except I could tell they added hot pepper flakes to give a hot kick. I was disgusted. I returned the shrimps to the waitress hoping they will make it right, sautéed the right sauce and bring a new dish. Obviously that did not happen. All of us were talking in the car about the poor experience we had, we probably will not go back to this restaurant. We're very sorry to hear about your disappointing experience, and we apologize for any miscommunication on our end. We get super busy on holidays, but even so, we want you to know that this kind of thing is rare. We hope you'll give us the chance to make it up to you. Best, Mimmo

I can't recommend this little gem enough! Freshly made-to-order Greek food in a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff. Never expected such a great little restaurant to open in my town - the food is easily on par with hidden gems you'd find in major cities. Highly recommended.

Was thrilled when the owner about 76 years old or so greeted us in a starched white uniform. Original owner opened om 1954. Food was top notch. Homemade pasta with shrimp and home made ravioli with hot sausage. Very mild. He recommended and we enjoyed ourselves. Homemade bread. Lots of homemade food in freezers to buy and take home. Will be eating there a few times a week while we're here on business.

It's a small nice neighborhood restaurant but going through an identity crisis. They couldn't decide if it should be a sports bar, a romantic restaurant, or a diner. Inspite of the design flaws it is still acceptable. I was seated immediately by a nice gentleman. A waitress took my order. My order arrived promptly but I didn't have any utensils which another waitress noticed and brought me a serving after a while. The Ceaser salad was excellent. The pizza was good but the sauce was watery so it was almost clear and made the pizza soggy. The dough was OK but because of the type of the yeast they use and lack of a good sauce as a base it was rather dull. It needed salt to have some taste. Nevertheless they have still one of the best pizzas in the area after Tutto Fresco has been closed. There were too many wait staff but the service was OK at its best. There was no bar tender so my waitress was doing that as well. Bartending requires more than just serving a drink or two when you are available. Bar is where they make money so I am not sure why they would leave it to a waitress. Limited wine list also needs attention. The restaurant has clearly a lot of potential but needs a good FOH Manager. In stead of Ulysses across the street, I would still go to V&M.

I stumbled upon this place on my way from down from the Philadelphia airport headed to the Delaware beaches. It's a small deli-type place. It's on the little main street in town, and there's parking in the back.Good: pretty wide selection of sandwiches; the place felt very authenticity South Philly; hoagie rolls were nice and soft.Bad: the wait (just two guys working and call-in orders meant mine took awhile to make even when there was only one other customer, who'd already been served; also, my hoagie ended up soggy from the "bruschetta" they put on it (meaning chopped tomatoes with spices). We really appreciate the feedback Maserk! We are always trying to better ourselves!!! Each order is a chance to make an even better hoagie than the one that came before. We hope that next time you visit we can do an even better job of impressing you and get all 5 stars!

My husband has been wanting to try this cafe for pizza. Went tonight. Needed to wait about 20 minutes. Very small cafe, looks like 10 booths/tables. Waited on immediately. Great pace and service. All the wait staff work together as a team to take care of customers. Had pizza and salad. Other meals looked really good too. Would recommend and return.
