Steps from the Beach at 120th Street since 1996. World Famous Crabcakes and Bloody Marys. Voted Best Seafood in Ocean City, MD last seven years.
We came here at lunch today for the crabcakes. I was concerned because I hate cartilage. These were likely the BEST crabcakes I have ever had. The cakes are mostly lump crab meat with almost no filler. I also enjoyed the fries and slaw. The slaw is a sweet creamy style. I really liked it. This meal was so good I will return for lunch tomorrow.

"Casual Diningâ¦Refined." Open for lunch and dinner, our menu stands apart from typical resort fare with a wide array of offerings ranging from gourmet burgers, innovative tacos, salads and sandwiches to full dinner entrees featuring fresh local fish prepa
I went there on a Monday in October now that they have started their second season specials. Mondays offer 1/2 price burgers and tacos. I was not too hungry, so I opted for the tacos. I sat out on the deck because the weather was nice. There is no view, since the place is on a side street on the bayside. Table setting was nice with cloth tablecloth and napkin. Waitress was nice and efficient. She brought a nice fancy bottle of water without prompting and plastic cup. I got a bottle of Michelob Ultra ($3.95) and ordered the Mexican street corn as appetizer. It was delicious, I'm sorry my picture did not come out. Cob of corn with grill char then rolled in a mayo based sauce and covered with Mexican cheese that is like a mild version of feta. It was a little pricey at $4.95, but spot on and full of flavor. My tacos were pollo (chicken for gringos) on flour tortilla. They were big. I am a big eater and these were fat with filling. Some pico and sour cream cheese on the side with a few home made tortilla chips. My only complaint about the tacos was that the meat flavor was drowned out by all the toppings, especially the melted monterey jack cheese on top. I little tweak and I would have given a fifth star based on my common sense and realistic rating system (most people just fling out 5 stars for every place). They have a huge selection of top shelf hot sauces but I could not find plain old Texas Pete or Tapatio, so they should add these easily available common hot sauces. I will be going back because I was very intrigued by the burgers. The price was great at half off, see picture of my bill, but would be priced too high for me at full price.Hi and thanks for the nice review! Glad you enjoyed the food. The Pollo tacos have been on our menu since day one and are very popular - I'm afraid we would get a lot of backlash if we were to change the recipe! Point taken on the hot sauce bar (we do in fact have Texas Pete in the kitchen had you mentioned it). Hope to see you back! - Rick

Nantuckets is our favorite restaurant in the Ocean City, Md. area. Lovely ambiance, great service (thanks Elise) Plenty of parking, active bar scene and wonderful food. Quahog & Scallop chowder is outstanding as are all seafood items. Wednesday is wine day with $10 off bottles of wine and a large selection of entrees at $19 each, great deal

I'm not much of a beach person but I don't mind a trip to Ocean City just to get crabs at The Crab Bag. Sweet meat with just the right amount of spices. Piping hot. Never dry. They will replace any crab you're not happy with (I've never had to do this, been here 3 or 4 times now). Also tried the oyster sampler - good, but I'd rather eat crabs. The MD crab soup and cream of crab soup are both good.

Seafood restaurant famous for Crabcakes and Bloody Marys with a fantastic view of the bay. Open year round.
This was our second visit to this restaurant, and it is amazing....go at sunset for the view, but, stay for the food. My wife and I both had the Cream of Crab Bisque...loaded with huge chunks of jumbo lump crab.....soooooooo goooooood. The house salad was okay....average....nothing bad....but, nothing to get excited about.... my wife had the Caesar Salad and again, it was okay....Then Joan had the 5 oz.crab cake, and I had the 6 oz. 'er. TOTALLY AWESOME! Huge lumps of crab meat...no filler....great taste!.....my French Fries were very good, and my wife had their home made kettle fries (potato chips) Even though we got there 45 minutes before closing, no one rushed us, and we ate at a comfortable pace and only detained their closing by 5 minutes. The food and the service here are wonderful and we're doing our part to spread the word. Pay them a visit....you'.. thank me for it.

We ate dinner at Harpoon Hanna's restaurant after golf one day on our trip. Good food from bacon wrapped scallops starters to broiled stuffed shrimp entrees. Everything was good! Our waiter was fun joking around with us during the whole process. We would eat there again. Nice area.Thank you for the great review! We are happy to hear you truly enjoyed your experience with us from start to finish and received wonderful service. We look forward to seeing you the next time you are in the area! Take care.

Visited Friday evening at 8 pm for dinner...6 in our party. We waited a few minutes for a table that had just been cleared, restaurant was full and very loud. It was very difficult to talk to anyone other than person next to you..and you had to talk loud to them too. Cheesesteaks and wings were pretty good but fish sandwich was not good. We constantly had to look for and remind our waitress numerous times to bring us drinks...as we were finishing up a band was setting up and because they had door open all the smoking outside was coming in (place needs to be air balanced) and we were in back of restaurant! Worse part was the amount of plastic cups they used/wasted...and their trash can was overflowing with plastics (cups, straws and cutlery!) do the earth a favor and use materials that can be reused or at least recycle! Will not come back or recommend

I have to admit we were a little disappointed with our last experience at Catch 54. We usually enjoy an amazing view and atmosphere with great seafood. This time our party of 8 was seated at the side of the restaurant on a picnic table with no view accept of the parking lot and the side of a pontoon boat. It was more suitable for employees to sit there for their break. The food was below the quality we usually experienced. My wifeâs shrimp and grits came out cold. The scallops were great as usual. Our server was also awesome. We will be back to give it another chance and will hope it is a better experience.Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We really appreciate you continuing to come in to dine with us with your family and we are sorry that your last visit wasn't the best. Please never hesitate to speak up to your server or to a manager if you are not pleased with your table so we can move you to a location where you are more comfortable. I would be happy to further discuss if you would like to email me at [email protected], thank you.

Twiningâs Lobster Shanty is where we head when the adults are ready for a nice sit-down meal in a relaxed atmosphere that is comfortable enough to easily accommodate children. As the name suggests, the menu is heavy on lobster-based items, but thereâs enough variety to please everyone. The views of the bay are spectacular. The reliably good food and service at Twiningâs keep us coming back year after year.
