Twelve of us were seated relatively quickly, at 6:30, in season. The upper level outside offers a great view of the beach. No meals were duplicated and all 12 received positive feedback. Service was as good as it could be on a packed night, actually better than expected.

This place was recommended to us by two different friends. We were not disappointed. Seafood entrees were fresh and delicious. Angus burger was cooked to order and delicious. Chicken sandwich was huge and also yummy. Portions were large. Server was very attentive with refilling drinks and checking on us. We went for lunch and arrived right at noon - by the time we left, the place was filling up, so go early if you can.

The Penguin is a family owned and operated farm to table restaurant. We use the freshest, locally sourced ingredients available. Come in and enjoy our fabulous breakfast, delicious Beanie's double burger, specialty sandwiches and wraps, Fresh fish Tacos,
This place is nothing fancy but a good, basic restaurant with a few salads, sandwiches, and good breakfasts. We went for lunch - great mac & cheese!!! The southwestern chicken salad was very bland, so I would not get that again. Have been here in the past for breakfast - it's good!

Was visiting Bethany Beach for the first time in several years. Drove past Mickey's Crab House by chance, had to turn around to stop for lunch. Glad I did. So good, I returned the next day. You can spend more money eating seafood in Bethany Beach, but you won't find a better meal.

Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 2 to 5pm at the BAR ONLY
I went here with my friends to have some refreshments. There was a party going on in the foyer area, which I thought was a little unusual. The noise levels were very high. Coffee and other drinks were available in the lounge/reception area and we ordered some snacks as well. There were computers available to use and the wifi signal was strong. The staff were welcoming but the whole reception area I felt needed to be spruced up somewhat. Really, just average.

What a difference a year makes. Iâll keep it short and sweet. The margarita was lousy (more salt on the rim than alcohol in the cup), my Waimea rice bowl was lukewarm, and the waiter showed no interest in his job. The really concerning thing is that the weather is suspect, so itâs not crowded here; the place is completely over staffed to the point that theyâre standing around watching ESPN in the bar. I canât imagine how it would be if they were busy. Yikes. Thanks for the feedback! Looks like the atmosphere on this day really contributed to a lousy experience. When planning the schedule, we can't necessarily predict that a late July/early August day will be "suspect." We've got to staff so that we are prepared if it ends up being a beautiful day. There are times when mother nature may throws us a curveball and because we were preparing to be busy, it may appear to a guest that we are "over-staffed." We welcome you to come back on a beautiful day so that you can see these guys and gals at their best.We will take note of the over-salted rim and lukewarm Waimea bowl as we begin planning for 2020.If you have any other thoughts on food and how we can improve, please shoot us an email at [email protected]!

The Bethany Boathouse is a fun place to go for live music and great food. We have outdoor seating and a gazebo bar on the pond. Live music 7 days a week in season. Our most popular items are our Tuna tacos, crab cake sandwiches and our specialty salads. D
Once again we had a large group of 12. Salads were large and filling even with out an extra topping. TROPICAL SHRIMP SALAD - Served in a real pineapple bowl! Mixed greens served with grape tomatoes, fresh pineapple chunks, marinated red onion, mango salsa, feta cheese and finished with a grilled shrimp skewer. Served with a house made raspberry balsamic dressing. Impressive presentation as well as good. GROUPER TACO Lightly breaded and fried Grouper. Three tacos with cilantro lime cabbage, pico, marinated onions, and avocado crème. Accompanied by tortilla chips and guacamole - this was excellent. QUESO CHEESESTEAK Served on toasted hoagie roll. Too small to share. Service was good and our server Jared took great care of us.
