One of my favorite spots in Lewes located near the canal bridge. Excellent food and atmosphere. You can eat outside and enjoy the fire pit when cooler weather arrives.Excellent burgers and seafood. The tuna appetizer is an excellent way to start your culinary adventure.

The Surfing Crab is a family tradition of fresh seafood and crabs that was established over 50 years ago. It all started back in 1961, when Henry Vechery opened the Bethesda Crab House. His young son, Donald Vechery began working with him at the age of ju
We are happy to find Soft Shells on the day board as even though Iâm a MD boy, I just hate the work of pulling the steamed critters apart. That does seem to be the real deal here. Most of the room had tables full of lots of big crabs in the all you can eat for $50.Turn around and we pay $29.95 for two soft shells and when I was happy with the size of them, the value just seems lopsided.Hush Puppies are outstanding and fries are ok.Our server was very good. We got stuff fast and he responded to all request. The room was a tad loud. They have no sound deadining material and the bar crowds is feeling no pain. Only nit was 6 hours later we did not feel right but it could be all the fried food as it âpassedâ. Everything was way freaking hot so I trust it was cooked right and the place does volume so Iâm hoping it would not have been old. We will give them another shot.Oh the bar did a good job on her orange crush & the bar man is a stitch.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, which we just happened to find on our walk of downtown. The menu was impressive. I had the Char-Grilled Atlantic Octopus with Totem Farm baby tomatoes, cucumber, Baywater Farm fish pepper, pine nit dukkah, roasted garlic oil, chickpea puree, and my wife had the catch of the day. The soft shell crabs looked very good, but we had already place our order. We normally avoid bread, however they make their own which we could not resist trying. We even purchased a loaf to take home with us which we have not done since France.

We were visiting friends on the shore and decided to come to Lewes, Delaware for lunch by the water. The menu was extremely disappointing. There were very few items to order for someone with a gluten-free allergy. We almost got up and walked out after having a drink because of the disappointing menu.

A unique cafe off the beaten path in historic Lewes serving farm fresh breakfast, fresh juices and lunch
We had the perfect Saturday morning breakfast at Honeyâs. Service was great - attentive but not intrusive. Atmosphere reflects the local - bustling but engaging. Food was great - large portions and delicious. The hidden gem - Latke. Crisp potatoes with a soft, creamy, melted cheese-like interior with great flavor. Try a specialty mimosa, they are a real treat. We are so glad we found this fantastic spot for breakfast this morning.

Half Full: A cozy restaurant serving unique pizza, salad, soups and dessert with a killer wine list and a great selection of craft beers on draft and in cans & bottles.
The staff at Half Full are friendly and gracious. The food is delicious. The thin crust pizzas are perfect for sharing with a friend. The wine selection is very, very good. The aura is relaxed and informal.

This was our first time having breakfast at Nectar, we have twice enjoyed lunch, and we had a special time. Almost immediately after taking our order the power went out and we were certain that if it did not return we would be asked to leave. The opposite occurred, we did not get power back but the staff informed us that the kitchen used gas burners etc and that they would hand squeeze our juices and we would be fine. In a semi darkened room, with only natural sunlight filtering in, the staff produced a terrific breakfast exactly as ordered. Iâm sure it took some creativity to toast the bread and make the drinks but there were no complaints and they artfully fulfilled all orders for patrons that were seated and quietly went to work storing all the pre-cut fruits. Congrats job well done five stars!!! The food, coffees and juices as expected were great. We had a ferry to catch and made it with full stomachs and time to spare!

The Fork + Flask is a relaxed, bungalow-style eatery offering inventive American small plates, seafood dishes & cocktails.
They were clearly shot-staffed when we were there. Though we had a reservation, it took 10 or more minuted to be seated. It took longer than it should have to order and be served. Now the good parts...we were thanked profusely for our patience, our drink orders were taken by the manager, food was being brought out from the kitchen by kitchen, staff, management, and other non-servers--a true team effort! Everyone was exceedingly courteous and friendly. And when our server finally greeted us, she didn't seem (or make us feel) rushed at all. The food was phenomenal. Their focus on fresh ingredients really came through, from their special peach-inspired menu insert, to the main menu, and the separately-printed special vegetarian menu, every item looked delicious, and what we had was. Highly recommend this place! Thanks for taking the time to leave such an amazing review! We will take note of your wait time so that we can ensure that these types of experiences are limited. We take a ton of pride in guest satisfaction and we are stoked that we were able to turn the experience into a 5-star one. We hope to see you again in the very near future.Cheers!
