Reviewed By 941magnusaI have stayed here many many times, in fact I had lunch here first time at Easter of 1977 as a young boy. It is a delightful place in a prime location. The food is top notch local products. One perfect place to include in a summer road trip through Sweden.

Welcome to Sandviks Camping, approx 33 km south of Färjestaden. Stay in a quiet, scenic setting right by the Kalmar Strait.

Reviewed By 692christerwOne of the nicest campgrounds I’ve been to. It’s right on the ocean shore with tons of space for campers, RVs and tents. Setting up camp on the grassy beach you get a stunning view of the south Baltic with gorgeous sunsets, but also at times some strong winds. Camp further in behind the trees on a large meadow like area, some with power some not. Washrooms are kept spotless and showers and laundry are free. The folks running it are very nice, helpful and multilingual. Öland isn’t a big island, so all the sights are close by in all directions. I was only staying one night but stayed for three. Highly recommend!

Lighthouse Keepers' apartment on SE shore of Öland by the Baltic Sea in the Öland World Heritage. Nature- and birdlovers' paradise. BBQ, Wi-fi etc. Bed or whole apartment to rent. A variety of Bird- Nature- World Heritage- and Lighthouse guidings available.

Decent accommodation. Spectacular views
Reviewed By Belacqua_xStayed here recently as a family member got married. I’m not usually a fan of hostels as I have like weird OCD about germs and dirt... but I can’t say that I found this place unclean at all. Wasn’t keen on the shared bathrooms... but as everyone else was family, it wasn’t so bad. The views of the lake though are just stunning. It was worth staying even for those alone. Would recommend!
