The views from inside are lovely and sitting outside could not be better. Food was not as good as in the past. It ranged from mushy shrimp and Brussels sprouts to ok (very sweet) collards to outstanding avocado/tomato appetizer. Service was good, but the shrimp and sprouts are usually our favorites so disappointing meal.
Nice they have lots of options to seafood for non fish lovers.

Had business in Deale and were delighted to find a covered but outside place for dinner on a beautiful evening. Waitress Sara was a delight and she was super patient while we ordered drinks, finally dinner after much debate, customizing mine, and explaining the specials several times for the benefit of my elderly mother. She was just great! Two people got the seafood braised cabbage ($11.95) and raved about it to the tune of why doesn't anyone else do this?! It was called an appetizer but was plenty of food for a dinner and well balanced. I converted a blackened grouper dinner ($21.95) to a huge excellent sandwich and a friend had the crab cakes ($29.95). I thought it was a bit much to count a bun as a side dish but I was just happy to get the bun and let it go. Everyone was really happy with their food, the outdoor seating, the waitress--what a pleasant surprise to fall into this place on a whim. While we didn't eat inside, we did go inside to use the facilities and that part of the restaurant was sort of bizarre with dated multi rooms and not much appeal. But on that perfect weather day, this is the place to be in Deale, MD!

Bob Evans Bay Foods has been in this location for years offering the freshest seafood right from the Chesapeake. This is the place to go for blue crabs and whatever fish and other seafood that are in season. Until his death in 2015, the legendary Capt. Bob Evans was an nationally recognized waterman who essentially sold the best of his daily catch right from his boat to his store. His daughter Eliza and her husband Anthony "Shaq" Jones picked up the business immediately afterwards with Eliza running the shop and Anthony running the boat. Anthony worked with Bob Evans since he was a teenager and is carrying on the local tradition.

Came here based on comments from our innkeeper who said new owners had turned things around. He had stopped going here because quality was hit miss but said things changed. There were 4 adults 4 different choices all very good. None were off the chart but all were good. Would return. Nice location.

Off RT2 in Anne Arundel county, parking is tight but the place looks cool, it's in Friendship MD!
We got 3 pizzas to go, they were just ok nothing crazy good but OK! Huge Italian menu, pastas, salads, typical Italian place.
Very clean, I think it would be better to eat in here.

Chesapeake Market has almost anything you would need for a day on a boat. A very substantial selection of beer wine and liquor, and a lot of good food supplies. The wines are adequately priced, considering it is right outside the marina and if you need it last-minute.
We did order a breakfast sandwich, and it took forever for it to come out. The sandwich was fine, but the wait was ridiculous.
Overall, Chesapeake Market is pretty much the only game in town for this marina, but it does not disappoint.

By the looks of the outside you might consider not stopping but do not be fooled. This is a friendly little place that comes alive the minute you walk in. Clean, nicely decorated, superb food and kindly wait staff. We learned that the crab soup is excellent but only made on special days. Same with the pineapple upside down cake. Make sure to call ahead. Nice little find for breakfast!

Visited for a meal on Saturday evening. Busy, but got a table quickly. Menu looked old and needed a wipe down. Ordered a frozen mango margarita, huge and delicious. Got chicken and Shrimp fajitas and Arroz Texans. Both were tasty and came out quickly. Waiter was busy but kept checking on us. They seemed to have plenty of staff on duty. Would visit again if in the area.

My husband and I were meandering up the coast and found this little sandwich shop - thanks to a local:) It was good food and great service. We enjoyed taking our lunch out to the boardwalk, sitting and watching the ocean and enjoying the day:)

Stopped here for dinner on the way home based on its previous reviews, and will definitely make it a regular stop for the family.
Clean, great service, and a large list of choices for the family. Both my wife and I enjoyed the burgers, and the grilled chicken my youngest ate was perfect - she gobbled it up. Their buffalo chicken wrap needs some work (not sure what that sauce was, but it wasn't buffalo).
Overall it is a great half-way point between table service and fast food. So you pay a little more than Burger King, but from what I saw last night, the value is definitely there. I was very impressed with this restaurant, and will go back soon.
