De Queen (/diː kwiːn/ DEE-kween) is a city and the county seat of Sevier County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 6,629 at the 2010 census. The placename is the anglicization of the family name of the Dutch merchant and railway financier, Jan de Goeijen (1861–1944). De Goeijen was reportedly rather unhappy with the deformation of his name.

Stopped here on a road trip through the area to have lunch and based our choice on reviews. We were not disappointed! Good choices of sandwiches, salads and soups...wanted to try them all but ended up with the reuben sandwich and it was fabulous! They had 4 choices of soups for the day, as well, and they all sounded good but just didn't have appetite for soup and sandwich! Also, their homemade desserts were the topic of most of the reviews and I must say they all looked delicious! Wish we could have tried them!

This will now be my go to place when I am in the area. I recently had dinner here with a friend who recommended it for good southern comfort food. He was right! The chicken fried steak sandwich was delicious. There are so many things on the menu that I want to try.

Our little server, Courtney, did an excellent job on running the gas station register and running the Baskin Robbins part. My baseball nut ice cream was very tasty and she did an excellent job making sure my ice cream cone was full!

Very good food, good service, fun atmosphere. Most of the local people eat here for breakfast. I would suggest this restaurant over any other in town.

Found this gem on our way to Hot Springs Arkansas for Spring Break. Absolutely fabulous! Delicious food. Better than reasonable prices. Amazing service. To top it off today they had a free chocolate fountain for dessert with fresh fruit and marshmallows on sticks to swirl thru the fountain! ... With the cutest sweetest young lady helping keep the chocolate fountain table in impeccable order. Wish we lived closer.... we would be regulars! Plenty of chips, delicious salsa, fajitas were mmm mmm good, and rellenos were mouth watering!! Kudos to this gem of a restaurant!! Don't miss it if you ever find yourself in DeQueen!!

The service was average and the food was even more average. It was very clean and colorful inside. Menu has your expected choices.

My husband and I were passing through town on our way home from visiting relatives in Mena, and stopped in for lunch. We were hoping to find good, authentic Mexican food, and not just Tex Mex, and we weren't disappointed at all! As a matter of fact, I had the absolute best tacos al pastor that I have ever had in the U.S. We frequently travel to Mexico and love the pastor meat there and have found a few close substitutes to get us by, but not nearly as good as these. The meat was soooooo tender and delicious. My husband had the enchiladas with green sauce (salsa verde) and he loved his meal as well. This restaurant has been in the family for many years and we had a nice chat with several of the owners. Great people, great food. The decor is understated, but we liked it. Nicely decorated, not crammed full of fake flowers and mismatched Mexican art everywhere you look and cluttered, like many of this style of restaurant. We will definitely be back. Our biggest problem will be that we will want to try new dishes, but will be so tempted to order the same items again!

I like most of the donuts here except the chocolate although my kids like it. My favorite right now is the vanilla donut. The old fashion is really good as well. We usually get donuts here 2-3 times a month.

Have eaten here several times over the year and haven't had a problem yet. They mainly have Mexican food, but do have hamburgers, chicken, and steaks. The staff is always helpful. It has seating for small or large groups.
