We really enjoyed our stay here. Good facilities, beautiful surroundings, extremely helpfull and friendly people, very good food. We stayed 4 nights and also did a three-day hike from here to Petra, organised by Nawatef, which was one of the highlights of my 3 weeks in Jordan! I absolutely reccomend this place :)

Perched on the edge of the precipitous cliffs of Wadi Dana since 1995, this beautifully styled building merges elements of village vernacular architecture with more modern elements, creating a structure with a definable Arabic character, unlike any other in Jordan, offering breath-taking views of the reserve. It consists of only 24 comfortable rooms, 15 of them are deluxe room with it is own bathroom and balcony 9 are sharing bathroom. The Guesthouse is also equipped with facilities for courses and conferences, making a perfect location for retreats and workshops. The Guesthouse is open all year round.
Stunning views of the canyon from the hotel rooms as well as the dining area. Very romantic place to watch the sunset from. Dinner was excellent, one of our favorites from our stay in Jordan. Perfect location for hiking Wadi Dana or Wadi Ghweir and would definitely stay here again.

Hailed as one of the top 25 ecolodges in the world by National Geographic Traveler Magazine, Feynan provides an adventurous, enchanting escape into the Dana Biosphere Reserve. The solar powered lodge is lit by candles and stars by night, with 26 en-suite rooms boasting unique arabesque designs. Enjoy regional vegetarian dishes made from local ingredients. Hike or bike across diverse landscapes, discover local Bedouin culture, and explore archeological sites including some of the world's oldest copper mines. All stays are all-inclusive of 3 meal, accommodation and a range of guided activities and experiences including hikes, Bedouin experiences, cooking classes and demonstrations and stargazing.
The perfect destination to escape day-to-day commotion. The lodge is cozy and has a genuinely authentic ambiance. Beautiful architecture and comfortable rooms. The eco experience was refreshing! As for the staff? I cannot even begin to explain how welcoming and hospitable they were. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, and my daughters were especially thankful for the attention and pampering they received. The highlight of our visit was drinking Beduin tea under the starry sky at night, and observing the moon through the Lodge’s telescope was a memorable experience. I highly recommend visiting Feynan Eco Lodge! I’m definitely returning there soon!

Wadi Dana Eco-camp is working towards eco-status. It comprises 4 double chalets (en-suite) & 9 tents each sleeping one or two persons (shared facilities). The camp is 'off-grid' & is a joint venture between the local community cooperative (Dana Cooperative) and local farmers. It roosts in a stunning mountain location in southern Jordan overlooking Wadi Dana, Dana Nature Reserve & the ottoman village of Dana.

We arrived at 4pm and leave at 9.30am the day after. In between, it was a fantastic experience : 2h trip over the dana reserve with Salem, a marvelous guy who loves his land and sing some typical jordan songs while climbing the Mountain.. An homemade diner with 10 meals and local foods (one of the best culinary xp we had during our 2 weeks holidays). A night in a charming and quiet room. A wonderful sunrise and breakfast with a view ! Dont hesitate, this is magic !

A quick stopover whilst driving from Aqaba to the Dead Sea. We arrived late at night and were grateful for a clean room and a cup of tea after a long day of driving. Bathroom facilities were shared but we didn't see any other guests while we were there and found the facilities to be clean and easy to use as was next to our room. Very grateful for the hotel staff knocking on our door during the night as well to tell us we had left one of our car doors open!

Visiting with our family, Abdullah at the gate, and Hussein at the camp were so welcoming. They helped us plan our short time in Dana well so that we got maxi value. It's such a special place, next time we'll spend longer.

I will do my best to give the most honest details of what became a bizarre and forgettable conversation. Picture two fathers with our two sons and four daughters, ages 10 to 17. They did not show us a menu so there was some polite back and forth about what they were serving... Me: "We have been hiking all day and are really hungry and want something filling." Manager: "We have a set menu that has koftas and rice. Very filling." Me: "Great. We would like that. How many koftas are there?" Manager: "You will get one big platter for everyone." Me: "Can we get individual plates?" Manager (rudely pointing to the door and walking away): "You can go somewhere else." Me: "Huh? Okay, kids, let's go." We all get up to leave, tired and still hungry. As the kids file out I go to the manager's office where he is busy at work again. Me: "All I said was 'Can we get individual plates' and you told us to go somewhere else. That is not right." Manager: "Don't argue with me. Please go." Me: "I am not arguing. I am going to TripAdvisor." Whoa, man, what an effect that had. Manager: "I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE POLICE. I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE GOVERNMENT. F____ YOU. GET OUT." Needless to say, it took our children some time to recover from the abuse. We happily ate across the street. I am only writing this to protect future customers. Maybe he was having a bad day. But the above is what the Dana Tower Hotel's manager's bad day looks like. Forewarned is forearmed.

Wadi Dana Lodge is set in the heart of the 16th century Ottoman village of Dana, in a perfect location by the main village square next to the mosque. The lodge is a complex of rooms and courtyards which have been built from the restored buildings of Dana village, which maintain the traditional character of the old stone houses and spacious courtyards.
The owner was accommodating as we had booked for 2 nights but came a night early . Many groups were staying there from Europe either en route south or for treking. Breakfast was basic, dinner was the same on consecutive nights but at 7 JSD it was fine. This place could be really special but the rooms were rundown and in disrepair . You made your own beds ( which was fine ) but in reality in could have been cleaner. The price was 40 JSD for a night so we weren’t expecting a five star affair . One of the staff hung around for a tip after taking our bags without asking to walk 20 metres ! Great access to the Dana to Fenyan trail however .
