We were looking for a genuine local place but in KorÄula it seems a rather hard thing to accomplish ... and this restaurant was not an exception ! We got a fish soup that was just hot water ... calamari were reasonable and prawns were very tasty instead. The wine regular. The bill rather expensive for the quality of the food we got yet with an amazing view !

Back on Korcula after 16 years, after a few days, we left behind the generally rather expensive Korcula Town restaurants and headed for lunch at the lovely harbour village of Brna and the restaurant we so remember those years ago with our two children, and what a joy! Just as before it offers fresh local fish, well cooked and presented, local meats, excellent starters, good accompaniments, perfectly cooked squid, local wine at sensible prices, friendly and informative waitress and, if it's summer, a super view of the lovely and small Brna harbour from the terrace. In our week on Korcula we went to Konoba Brna twice. Simply lovely! (The internet link for cards does not always work at Brna but there are two ATMs along the harbourside).
Eat Like local. We offer homemade seafood and grilled meat, lamb and beef. We have homemade vegetables and fruits.
Visited here one warm day whilst exploring Korcula Island and we were glad we did.Located by the water, in what appeared to be a small village, we received great service from the waiter Alexander, the food was very tasty and was very well priced. The desserts were awesome, I wish I could remember what they were called, however it was local speciality recommended by Alexander.Worth a visit when driving around

A beach called Azzurro on the opposite side of Vela Luka center - 5 minutes away by boat - is under the ownership of the hotel Korkyra. The beach (former local bathing area) was opened in 2012 and it is completely renovated. The gravel beach offers peace
We had refreshments here on several occasions as we were in a nearby appartment. Nikola the young barista was an excellent and friendly host. The coffee was perfectly brewed and the Kolavacko well chilled. It is a great location especially for anyone staying on that side of the harbour. The drinks were very reasonable and the views of the town and harbour are beautiful. Nikola had such a great selection of easy listening music he was kind enough to put some on a memory stick for us. Clean and comfortable furniture make it an excellent venue for relaxing. Two thumbs up for Nikola and BB Azzuro.
