Ate here a few times while in Trogir. The service is very friendly and on good time. As vegetarians, we struggled to find restaurants in Trogir, with a reasonable selection of dishes. We found here to have more than the rest. The tomato soup is delicious as is the spaghetti with mushrooms and the gnocchi. There are lots of great looking meat dishes , which as a recently former meat eater, I would have previously demolished.

There are a lot of restaurants in Trogir, some very expensive, others moderate but apparently quite similar in what they offer. Jambo is in an enclosed shady courtyard with two other restaurants, which gets busy. Being vegetarian, limits our choice and we chose Jambo because there were tables available and the menu offered us choice of Italian food at a reasonable price. The service was good and friendly, the food also although nothing special there was equally nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our meal - pizza, lasagne and beers for 200kuna. It would suit families with children, young people and older adults alike.

We were disappointed about this place. Staff ignored us when we wanted to order something more. They offer you local aperitiv Prosek but they don't have it available. The cabbage salat was totally plain even the waitress set is with olive oil and salt. Prawn risotto was disgusting and extra parmesan which I got for extra money, the bowl was almost emty.

This was the nearest restaurant to our air bnb so we ate there a few times. Good prawn soup, good food generally. Great bread but you have to ask for it. Apparently they do fab pizzas but we were never offered the pizza menu!Would have said it was an excellent spot BUT the tv screens are on all the time. Noisy and very annoying. We did go in the first time on a Saturday night and they had a jazz singer on. This was great and the screens were off.

When we arrived, almost all tables were taken, but staff quickly found and cleared table for us. The waiter came immidately with menus, gave us time to decide what we're having, and food came on out table hot and within 15 minutes. The whole time they were really nice and attending eventough the restaurant was packed. And the food was excellent and good value for the money.

By the time we arrived at Slaven we were hot and tired. The waiter kept encouraging us to order a large meal but we opted for draught beer and a shared wood fired pizza. We chose the picante pizza and it was certainly enough for two and as itâs name suggested was spicy. The combination was perfect and we certainly left feeling quite satisfied.

Both opted for a pasta dishes which were under the âappetiserâ section of the menu. These were both huge and more than enough for a main meal! We also tried the bread infused with garlic which was amazing!! The meal was reasonably priced but mainly because our dishes were appetisers..Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for seafood dishes or anyone whoâs keen on fresh bread (who isnât!)

Recommended by a passer traveler we sought out this little restaurant in a side street. Clearly a popular place even for locals as they patiently waited for a table. The food is well priced and delicious and the owner and staff are amazing and friendly. Defiantly a must eat at place as you divulge in their delicious home made and baked pastas.
